I have both the 57040 (bigger orange) and 57074 (smaller black) models and have used both extensively. Here is what I think:The 57040 is a good, sturdy flashlight that will surprise you with how bright it is. It has two brightness settings, but I usually just use the brighter setting. You can also concentrate the beam which I've found useful in a few situations as it makes it appear just a hair brighter right where you need it. The magnet is cool but I usually take it off. I also removed the clip entirely. Red laser poiner is a red laser pointer. Even though the flashlight is impressively bright for how small it is: it's still just too big to realistically carry around with you every day.The 57074 however is an upgrade in the size department. It is much smaller, about the size of a pack of Double Bubble I've had vapes that were bigger. Very pocketable. It also has this awesome 2 way clip you can attach to the bill of a hat and use it as a makeshift headlamp. You can not concentrate the beam on this model which I initially found disappointing, it makes up for this however with a super-ultra-mega bright setting that can be used in 60 second bursts by holding the flashlight button. This kind of achieves a similar thing with less work. The magnet also isn't removable as far as I can tell on this model. It gets hot if you use the main lights on it for too long. It has a little floodlight that doesn't get as hot though. I also noticed that the green laser pointer on this model has a hands-free mode not mentioned in the manual that is activated by double clicking the laser button. Both flashlights have their strengths and weaknesses. I've owned my 56040 a lot longer and just got the 56074 recently. Both products are an easy 5 stars. I just noticed all these reviews are for the bigger orange flashlight and figured some might appreciate a review for the smaller black flashlight
This flashlight is a must-have for professionals on the go. I travel frequently for work and needed something compact, reliable, and versatile—this fits the bill perfectly. It slips easily into my backpack or carry-on, and the battery life is outstanding. I’ve used it for hours in equipment cabinets and factory settings, and the laser is great for tracing piping or highlighting points during presentations. Whether you're in a dim workspace or a bright conference room, this flashlight performs flawlessly.
I carry this daily and use it daily in my line of work, its super handy to magnetize to whatever above ceiling dealing with a rats nest of wires and someone's mess. It gives off plenty of light, the laser is okay, not super bright but works well enough to point things out that are far away, maybe 50 to 100' away, or on the ceiling somewhere. It would be really great, if this was a laser distance measure laser in this form factor, but that's probably asking for too much.

I usually don’t right reviews but flash light is awesome. It’s bright the magnet is strong and the battery last. I’m planning on getting more as a Christmas gift
Great flashlight and laser. Its a little bulky but the flashlight is very bright. The magnet on the back holds well. It would be better if it had a green laser instead of a red laser but it is still pretty bright. It is a tough light. It fell off an 8ft ladder and kept working. If you want a bright flashlight and laser this is a good choice and being cheaper than other brands is a plus. And still backed by Klein so that's another bonus.
I Bought this light for work, I do residential HVAC so the magnetic end caught my eye. After using this light after one day I’m glad I bought this thing. Super easy to use, floodlight is nice for putting on duct work to see and is quite bright. As for the regular flashlight I usually only use it on the low setting is plenty for furnace work, but used all settings and have no complaints.Great flashlight would recommend
Great for work. Having the combo of a light and red dot pointer is very nice. Definitely recommend. Charge seems to last a while, but im good at plugging it in.
One of the best purchases I’ve made! This is a very functional light laser combo. Slim, rechargeable, bright, and excellent green laser.
