08-03-2026I enjoy surfcasting along the Texas coast and currents here are surprisingly strong. Sputnik sinkers generally hold well, but these 3oz ones got moved around quite a bit. In retrospect, 4 or even 5 oz would have been better, along with bending out the wire legs more. The sinkers themselves seem well made and seem durable. I'll use them on days with less tidal action.
