08-03-2026I have used all types of line but I find braid does not get a memory where with a open face real others my come off the face in a birds nest. Yes some fish can bite it off so I tie a snap on it and use other line for leader or break away sinkers I got my 3 girls new big girl pole to replace their little princess poles and set them up with slip bobbers and a leader. The poles have 10 lb test and I made 4 lb leaders. If I have to break the line the 4 will break and all I loose is a hook and split shot and not the bobber set up. LOL, yes they go through a lot of gear. When I take they fishing I see a lot of bobbers in trees. Braid also works better for them.

08-03-2026Bought this line for my mity might micro rod for pan fishing. The monofilament that came pre-spooled with the rod was terrible so I wanted to upgrade to braid to make it more enjoyable.Although the line bleeds die pretty heavily, it's held up pretty well on my micro rod. I got the 4 lb line and it was easy to spool, thin enough to go easily through the rod, and for under five bucks it was a steal. I will definitely be looking at this brand again for my micro rods.
