This is a really nice backpack. The laptop compartment is nicely padded, which is a must for me. It’s a little smaller than my other backpack but if you don’t have a ton of stuff to carry in addition to your laptop it will work perfectly. I find it to be quite cute and so far it’s held up well for me.
My daughter needed a new bag for high school. Has lots of pockets and is good quality
This is a nice size backpack to use as a purse or even as a diaper bag. The quilted fabric is silky and puffy and gives it a stylish look like a puffer jacket. It weighs hardly anything while empty, so it won't feel to bad as you fill your bag with all the stuff you need for the day. I do like that it has some straps on the bottom for expanding the bag if needed and the strap to hang on your luggage handle makes it convenient to free up you hands. The straps are made of durable webbing. Definitely a good value for the price.
I’ve always been more of a backpack girl. I feel like purses hang awkwardly on me, though I do love a cute crossbody. Anyhow, for work, I stick to backpacks. I’ve gone through a few, and when I love one, I will wear it to death or until a zipper busts open. I toss my backpack around a lot more than I should considering it holds my laptop. Point being, I like to think I’m a decent judge of quality for what makes a dependable, long-lasting, and good-looking backpack. Given this, I’ve come up with the metrics below for how I rate all backpacks (adult, teen, and kid) and hope it gives potential customers an idea of what they’ll be getting:Appearance (color density, pattern print quality)Pitch black color all around, including zipper teeth and pull straps. No reflectors.Material (waterproof, wearable, thickness)Exterior material is on the thin side to hello give it that puffy look with the stitching. Does appear to be sturdy and resistant to tears. Inner fabric is soft, almost like a suede. Great for electronics.Comfort (padding, fabric, chest strap, clips, size guide)Very comfortable, lightly padded all around. Extra thick mesh padding on the back. Medium padding on shoulder straps.Zippers (smooth, pulls, color)Buttery smooth zippers with pull straps. All zippers are easily accessible.Storage (internal padding for electronics, pockets, closures, straps, elastics)Lots of large pockets fit everything I need and more. There are additional zippered pockets inside the bag as well. Pocket for laptop or tablet is padded for added safety. Water bottle pockets are on the smaller side– they fit a typical 16.9oz plastic bottle just fine, but would be tight (if it fits at all) for larger steel bottles.Quality (stitching, closures)The plastic pieces on the shoulder straps are thick and work well.OverallThe style is very “in” at the moment. The black color is a true black, even in direct sunlight. Great quality and very functional.
This quilted (and slightly puffy) nylon black backpack is perfect for the tween or teen in your life! Works great for adults too. It has nice quilting with good stitching (no missed or loose stitches). There are at least 6 zippered pockets in addition to the main compartment. They range in size from small to fit a cell phone, to large enough to fit a planner. Two of the pockets are internal, one inside the main compartment and one mesh one perfect for pencils. There is also a hidden pocket in the back that is perfect for valuables when traveling. The shoulder straps are padded and comfortable. The straps and the quilted handle are reinforced stitched through the interior seam binding which is good for strength integrity since those are major fabric tension points. The main compartment is roomy and includes a separate laptop sleeve area which is padded on both sides and fit my 15" MacBook. You can easily fit couple of changes of clothes in the bag, toiletry bag and a pair of shoes for a weekend trip. Alternatively you can fit a computer, a few binders and textbooks in the main compartment and all your school accessories in the front pockets. The bag does have a strap on the back for it to slide over your carry on luggage handle as well. There are also two side pockets with elastic. I think a large tumbler (30-40oz) would struggle to fit but my 1L sodas stream bottle and 24oz slim tumblers fit fine.I was really impressed with the thickness and quality of the material (I think it is twill, or at least a twill like material) used for the inside. Not only is it a really nice, thick fabric that will hold up well to wear and tear, but they also used a nylon for seam binding to prevent fraying. This is key to avoiding getting stuck zippers.I haven't used this backpack long enough to report on its long term use and durability, but I think it will hold up and I will come back with an update in a few months.
This black puffer backpack is comfortable for me to carry even when I'm carrying all of my really heavy items. It has sooooo many zipper compartments, there is a place for everything (see photo attached to this review for reference). You will want to note that my 15.6 inch laptop, 10.1 tablet, 3 large reference books, change of shoes, phone, multiple chargers and more ALL fit in this backpack, and there's still room left!
