It has everything my son needs — plenty of compartments, good capacity, and thoughtful design features that make it ideal for school use. 08-03-2026It has plenty of space and pockets, including a laptop sleeve which isn't padded though. Great zipper quality. The straps are adjustable and quite comfortable. Adequate space in the lunch bag; also easy to wipe clean.

08-03-2026This is a cool backpack for kids. I picked it out for my 10-year-old son going into 5th grade. He likes the pattern and I may add a decal to the front of it with my Cricut (I haven't decided yet). The backpack is a nice size and seems pretty durable. I didn't expect it to be the smooth, plastic kind of material and expected it to either be a canvas or a kind of vinyl canvas. It's a little flat from being pressed while shipping. I like that the set comes with a lunchbox and pencil box too. While it's kind of a "boys" backpack, it is definitely a pattern my older daughter would like too.The only downside to this backpack set is that the pockets on the sides of the backpack are too small for my kids' water bottles. They take a pretty standard size reusable water bottle with them every day to school and it's nice when they can go in the side pockets (but that requires a more stretchy mesh than what is on this one).

08-03-2026This is a great backpack set and perfectly sized for my rising 3rd grader. The little pencil pouch is a typical pouch. The lunch bag on this version is a little unique-it unzips pretty far down on the sides so everything inside is easily accessible.The backpack is not made for an adult, its proportionally sized for smaller frames. The material inside and out feels water repellant so I think it would be easy to clean up spills. There are two outside compartments and then the big roomy inside area that you can fit a smaller laptop.The straps are well padded and there's even a front strap that hooks across the chest to evenly distribute the weight. There are two side net pouches for water bottles-you're not going to fit a huge 40oz mug in there but again, this is designed for kids so a kids water bottle will fit perfectly.At a price point of just below $33, I think this is a great price and value for what you get and especially the quality of the backback-the straps seem like they will last a long time

The color is vibrant and eye catching and the durability should be enough to get through the school year. The zipper quality is good as well and should hold up against a middle schooler ferociously opening and closing it.
