This bag is deep and has lots of room. I love that it has a detachable purse that you can use as your airplane essentials bag and then use as a purse at your destination. It is held in place by the clips you see in picture, and then 2 magnets. Also has a secret zipper behind the purse! This is my 2nd Lovevook bag I own!

I havent used this yet so the 5 stars is based upon my first impressions of the bag. I was looking for a personal item air travel bag. I have gone through so many duffel bags, and while each has their pros, they also have their cons. The most common con I have found is inadequate water bottle pockets. I NEED to carry my 32 oz bottle so the pocket is important to me.These are my pros so far:Water bottle pocket (1)I can confirm that the water bottle pocket will hold a standard Nalgene bottle, a 44 Oz Thermoflask, or a 30 Oz yeti double insulated mug. (Obviously not all at the same time) the pocket is not only wide enough to accept those i listed, but deep enough that you wont have to worry about it falling out. There is also a side compression strap to cinch the bottle down if need be.Detachable front pocket.It is attached by 2 clasped at the top and 2 magnets on the bottom. I was concerned that the magnets would not be strong enough to keep this secured. I can now confidently say that the magnets are strong and I am no longer concerned. This little bag comes with a strap so it can be used as a purse when deteched, but I think I'm going to use it to keep my over the ear Bose and other items I'll need on the plane so once the backpack goes under the seat, it can stay there. Ill just remove the detachable bag and put it in the seat back pocket in front of me. Everything I need for the plane in one place.Storage space.I don't know how often I plan on taking a laptop, but the dedicated laptop storage can be a functional space for other things that I might need to access quickly. The main compartment provides a lot of space and is easily accessible due to the clamshell style opening. There is an "x" shaped compression strap that will help keep items secure during transit.There are various smaller pockets throughout which is nice for organization. The zippered pockets on the inside flap appear to be able to prevent leakage which is a huge plus.Material.The material feels durable. The zippers seem to be good quality and while the zipper pulls don't appear to be KKY zippers, they are hefty, solid and quite attractive. I suspect they will be every bit as durable.Backpack straps are padded, adjustable and I think they will be comfortable when carrying a load. The trolly stap is also important to me and I think this one will work just fine.Appearance.This is a beautiful bag. The colors go together very well and add fashion to what I presume will be great function.Value.This bag appears to have what I want and need in a travel bag at a fraction of the cost of some of the others I have looked at. I won't have to sacrifice pleasing esthetics for functionality which adds a whole lot of value.As of now I see no cons, but this review is based on first impressions and not usage.

I absolutely LOVE this bag. I bought it for vacation and was able to use as my personal item. It had enough room for clothes for me and my kids plus all the things we would need for the flight and 1 day. Love the extra secure pockets. Didn't use the detachable purse but its functionality is great! Very comfortable & cute!

After lugging a wheeled suitcase through the airport with one hand and the other holding a briefcase with work items, I am hands-free at last! This backpack is so well designed and holds a ton. The straps and handles are extremely sturdy and make it very comfortable to carry. The bonus of this style backpack is the removable personal item pouch (strap included) that you can remove from the backpack and use as a Crossbody purse. I couldn’t be more pleased and look forward to using it on my next vacation. The price is also inexpensive for its extraordinary level of quality.

It’s so spacious! And I really like the fact it can be used as a cross body purse as it’s really handy. Would definitely recommend as the quality is really great.

My husband and I purchased this backpack for a recent trip so we could use it as a carryon. I really liked the detachable crossbody. I carried it through the airport with my ID and passport but was able to reattach it to the backpack when boarding the plane so those 2 items became one. It has lots of room and extra compartments to keep things separated. It extends if extra room is needed which we did during thavel. We also carried it to Disney and Universal Studios and it held up after a few days of stuffing it in and out of the lockers you were required to put your items in while riding.

Love love love this bag! It fit perfectly under the plane seat. Roomy and sturdy. The small purse was the selling point for me. Securely attaches to the front. Great bag for your personal item!
