08-03-2026I like everything about this styling product except the price. It hold without being stiff or crunchy, has no fragrance and is cruelty free. But for the price is through the roof for such a small amount! used a gift card and don’t regret it but can’t justify another purchase out-of-pocket.

I am 74 years old.I do need to curl my hair before using the Barb pomade.it is the only pomade I have found that holds Body in my hair.Previously I used hair spray and teasing to hold body in my hair. By the end of the day my hair was sticky mess. I hate hair spray.After stying I only spritz a little hair sprayThe pomade gives me a more natural look that holds all day.I love it!

It holds without being (or appearing) stiff, doesn't weigh down my hair, and lasts all day. I use my fingers to apply a tiny amount to my hair after washing and blowing it dry, and it works wonders. Best of all, it's not sticky or tacky, so when I run my hands through my hair to restyle it during the day, not only does my hair look great again, I don't have to worry about washing goo off. Honestly, the Barb Shop's Soft Clay Pomade has made me fall in love with my hair again.
