The fishing rods & reels are better than I expected - they appear to be of a high quality and function perfectly. The accessory’s also are of a good quality. One rod/reel works well enough to catch a fish.
Best little fish roles great grandkids to use. Grandson 18 pound catfish
So far ok, have a few issues with the the line catch ring snapping back when you wind the reel handle so you push it with your hand. If you don't catch it in time the line gets messed up on the spool. But so far I like them. Have had no luck catching any fish with the lures that come with the kit. Also you can't leave the reels on the poles and get them to fit in the bag provided which requires you to disassemble them every time. So I got a different bag ( tool bag ) which also I can fit differen lures and a few cold pops.
Worth the price and plenty of tackle
Super compact! When extended about 7 feet long. I loved these so much that I ordered another set for my uncle that is an avid fisherman.
Finding this little kit was so exciting. My husband and I live in and travel in an RV fifth wheel for part of each year and as much as possible we try to make our longer stops near or on water because we love to fish. But in an RV storage, it comes at a premium so having this little kit where all the necessary items are in one small container that we can store behind the backseat of our truck is really handy. We haven’t used it yet because we haven’t traveled since I got it, but I did open it up and go through the items to check them out and see what was included and what quality the items appear to be. Truthfully, the atoms are not top of the line, but that’s not what I expected. I really just wanted a nice little kit that I could grab and pull out for use quickly and easily and store away just as quickly and easily. And this kit fits those needs. There are two fishing poles the line sinkers floats, and a few jigs so that the basic needs would be easily met with just the addition of a box of worms. Nothing is top of the line but at the same time nothing is the cheapest out there either. It’s a good sensible, but inexpensive kit. If I find that we fish a lot more than I am guessing we will and may replace it later for a real tacklebox and some heavier, duty holes and equipment, but at this time and this part of our travel life, I think this kit will fit the bill and do what we need without breaking the bank.It has a cute little bag to store everything in and everything in the bag is organized and has a place. The pieces seem like they’ll last a long time with careful use and care and their full-size fishing poles so I think they’ll be able to do the job well. I’m very pleased.
This is one of the better portable fishing kits for anyone who loves to fish and needs a compact setup. I love to fish, but most of the time I don’t end up going because I either don’t have a rod and reel with me or it’s just too much trouble to carry one around. With this kit, you can take it almost anywhere. When we go on vacation to the beach for a week, we always hit the pier a couple of times to fish. We’ve always had to rent their rods and reels because we didn’t have our own. This setup is perfect for situations like that. It’s easy to pack in a suitcase or keep in your vehicle, and it’s simple to carry with you.Everything fits into the small 7" x 17" carry case. The case itself is a faux-leather style and actually pretty nice. The rods collapse down very short and have a plastic cover to protect the eyes. The reel handle loosens and folds in, so the whole thing becomes a really compact setup. They include a surprisingly nice pair of multi-use pliers that can cut line, remove hooks, and clamp sinkers, plus a decent fish lip gripper and a small box with some basic tackle. You pretty much get everything you need to start fishing right away. The rods and reels are both decent quality. They’re not high-dollar or premium setups, but they’re plenty good for their purpose. The included line works well and casts pretty far, though I eventually swapped it out for my own braided line. Now it really casts great. I have a couple of these portable kits, and this one is definitely better than my other one.I did customize my kit with my own compact tackle box, accessories, and lures, but even right out of the box this is a great little setup. It’s not a high-end rod and reel, but for what it is and what it’s meant for, it’s great. Everything functions as it should, the quality is solid for the price, and it’s an excellent value. You can’t even buy two separate rods and reels for forty bucks, and here you get a compact setup plus all the accessories. I really like it and plan to use it as much as I can.
Just an average quality. Nothing wow factor
