Purife Steel Anti-Slip Parallettes Push Up Bars Floor for Men, Strength Training Equipment Gymnastics Calisthenics Bars, Push-up Handles for Home Fitness, Workouts
these push up bars are made out of steel that feels very sturdy. installation was very easy and self explanatory. done with minutes. it's a nice height for me to do push ups and dips. my kids also use it too. I like how it was a complete set and they gave you grip tape. the grip tape was really easy to apply. just make sure you wrap it up nice and tight. it's also a pretty small footprint and easy to store away.q
I've wanted parallettes for the longest time, but was looking for an inexpensive DIY solution (made from PVC or wood or iron pipe). I don't believe I could make my own for less than these cost, and even if I spent more, they wouldn't be nearly as good. When you're holding yourself off the ground, you want an extreme amount of confidence that your equipment isn't going to break. These give you that confidence. Everything about them screams 'quality'.My one issue is the grip tape that is used to wrap the cross pieces. It's clearly made for tennis rackets, but it's not anything like the grip tape that I used to put on my rackets long ago, the application of which was much more intuitive, and much more forgiving. Of course, that was just for gripping, and this is also for padding. But the tape creates grooved padding instead of a uniformly padded surface. A lot better than nothing, but not as good as it could be. It's certainly grippy, though! There is zero chance that your hands are going to slip. Also, I don't see any good reason why the tape wouldn't be applied at the factory, by a small number people who know exactly how to do that, instead of leaving it to be applied at a large number of homes, where everyone is guessing, and many are guessing wrong. But apart from the tape/padding, these are an outstanding addition to any home workout space.
I'm really happy with these and how they are the perfect size off the ground. I appreciate the fact that it comes with your choice of black or teal on the hand wraps because I like the black and hate the teal. I like how it's not on there yet so when you put it together you choose then what color you want. The teal would be good to keep it different enough to where you can easily identify it as your own in a classroom situation however. So there is use for both colors. It's super easy to assemble and is ready really quickly to use once removed from its package. The best part is the wrap goes on super quickly and easily with the peel off sticky back. The foam makes the grip a lot better and a lot more comfortable for the hand and is easy to wrap over the handle and stays permanently. Someone happened to walk by while I was wrapping it and they skeptically remarked that it doesn't look like that is going to stay on there. But it stayed on there. The sticky part is better than what people expect because past sticky things did suck a lot of the time. But nowadays they seem to be a lot better and this one feels really good and the parallettes are nice sand sturdy and hold me up just fine.
It took me a while to use this because it needed to be assembled. I shouldn't have waited. It was really quick and easy to put together. Took no time at all. This is REALLY well constructed. Able to hold my weight in a full push-up with no problem. Very sturdy thick steel. No-slip skid free pads on the bottom. Wrap (2 types) for wrapping to make it easier on the hands when working out. I have zero negatives for this. Nothing but pros. Because it's individual you can move around for optional postitioning according to your arm length and easily go between military style pushups, regular push ups and tricep dips 100% based on YOUR peroabl wingspan.
The bars are exactly what I was looking for. I’m a 6’ 185lb guy. The parallette bar height of 10” is plenty for my poorly flexible self to do an L sit to a tuck planche without issue (besides my physical struggles). They’re also a good height for pushups (w feet on the floor or raised). If using for handstand pushups, 10” deeper than if you were doing one without any bars.Easy to assemble: The bars come with ~1” long Allen screws and not Phillips head, which is good (couldn’t tell by the pics). The metal bars have a good feel (not slippery) and the rubber pads for the bottom are a 1/8” thick hard rubber. I was concerned the pads would be cheap and potentially fall apart but that’s not going to be the case. You receive two sets of individually wrapped grip tape (one black, one blue). The bars do not come pre-taped. I wasn’t thrilled to wrap the bars myself but I’m glad I did.Taping advice: Only the very ends of the wrap are sticky. The thin white foam is not sticky and you do not peel it off. You peel off one end of the sticky tape and start about 3/4” from the edge of the inside of the bar wrapping inwards. Overlap the sticky part once at both ends (when you start and finish). When you wrap the bars, keep a firm pull as you go around each time. I found it best to line up the edge of the white foam with the edge of the black wrap each time around and it should wind up centered on the bar when you’re done. Hint 1: start with the black wrap first because if it’s not perfectly centered, you won’t notice it as much against black metal. Hint 2: each wrap comes wrapped with a thin black tape you use at the end when the bar is wrapped - the final piece doesn’t stick down well. It’s easy to re-wrap if it’s not to your liking. This experience gave me the confidence to wrap my bicycle handlebars going forward so I’m glad to have done it.
Okay design, the assembly was simple enough but they don't seem sturdy.
Son de muy buena calidad, me encantaron!!! Vale la pena comprarlas
