We got this padded shirt for my son to use for a sport activity at church. It's great, it adds padding in areas of the body that needs it. The fabric is sports stretch fabric which is comfortable and looks great. The town colors along with the design of the pads looks great on this shirt as well.
Nice, comfortable compression shirt. Fits well, protects well.
This padded compression shirt is surprisingly comfortable and made of good-quality (one frayed stich, but I'll let it slide), stretchy material that moves well during sports. The padding is placed in the right spots: ribcage, shoulders, sternum... and it’s enough to provide a light buffer against incidental contact. That said, the padding is basic EVA foam, which is far less protective than higher-tech padding like D3O or other impact-dispersing materials found in premium gear. It won’t provide serious protection for full-contact sports, but for things like flag football, baseball, or general athletic use, it’s sufficient, especially at this price point.BEWARE OF SIZING! Sizing is way off from standard clothing. I’m 6'0", 195 lbs, and usually wear a size L or M in shirts. According to the size chart, I ordered an XXL, and while it fits, it's a bit roomy. Definitely double-check the chart before ordering, and perhaps then size down one size from what the chart says. (See my photos for size reference.)Overall, it's a good value if you're looking for basic, comfortable padding for non-contact or light-contact activities... but if you're playing rougher sports like football or rugby, you’ll want something with more serious protection.
Good protection, happy with the shirt and its performance
This padded shirt is awesome! Comfortable and gives great protection during games.
Nice shirt
This padded compression shirt gave my 8th grade lineman the extra protection he needed throughout the season. With the amount of hard hits he had to take, having that additional padding made me feel a lot better about him being out on the field. It fit well under his jersey and pads without adding any bulk or restricting his movement. It was a little snug on him, but that’s exactly how we wanted it to fit — secure, tight, and not shifting around during plays.Overall, it’s a solid protective shirt that offers great rib and chest protection and holds up well under real football conditions.
This an extremely nice base layer shirt, which provides incredible padding in some of your most vulnerable areas! It is a compression shirt, so understand it will be snug, but don’t by one too big, because it may move around and the area’s the padding should protect, may not because of looseness?! This one will be worn by a RB in football…….normally he wears a M/L shirt, but we decided Medium will work best. I have seen many padded base layer shirts over the years, and this one honestly provides the absolute best padding I can recall………time will tell the quality, and if the padding stays protective or simply just collapses on contact??? As for now based on appearance, AND ASSUMED PROTECTION (yeah I know assume) I feel good about this player wearing this for added protection.******THIS SHOULD NOT BE USED AS ASUBSTITUTE FOR REGULAR FOOTBALL PADS!
