Like the design they work well
I would've given these hooks a 5 star but the sizes do not match what we have in USA.The Size 6# from LuckyFiahing is acculy the size of 4# might even be between both 4# and 2#.Even though the Gamakatsu hooks are originally made in Japan. As you can see the size difference between these two hooks witch both say on package size 6#.Thebother problem I encountered was Eye-ring of the hook is much larger so it will have a problem if you put thinner line through it it will get cut by the loop of the hook witch can be sharp. So that's NOT good....The other part the v-hook is quite a V it would've been better if it was a sharper curve so that the bait does not come off easy. But on the Good thing about Luckyfishing hooks is there very sharp and has a Large barb at the tip of the hook witch will make it hard for a fish to come off.The metal seems strong well made but that remains to be seen until I used then on the beach and see if it holds it's sharpness when hitting sand when I lure in my grubs or bait. Most other time all hooks wear out FAST in sand conditions. Gamakatsu hooks are VERY SHARP I tested both still Gamakatsu is sharper but I think only because the Luckyfishing hooks is wider in diameter. It's close like very close in sharpness. But now to see how long one hook last for one day on the beach, All day?Or a few hours.....I'll leave an update soon. But for the price and how many you get it IS still worth it if you don't mind a huge Eye-ring of the hook. I assume the Eye-ring can fit 25lbs Mano or even 30lbs so you have an idea how big it is around. Hope they can fix this and angle the V on the hook a little more and I think you'll have a perfect Hook!
Sharp little puppies, I stuck myself right out of the pack! Catches the trout for sure.
Well made and hold up good. Can't ask for much better.
Great hooks at a great price
Tres bien fait.Grosseur ideale pour la truite
Great hooks for the price and quantity
These effers are sharp!! My fiancé and I love them for worms.
At least it seems to be a quality product
Nice set of hooks, as described in the listing.Has the eyelet set up for a snell knot, which is my preference. Sharp. Offset so that it sets in the fish's mouth better. Even the point of the hook has a bend inwards. Also has two prongs on the leg of the hook to hold bait. Overall a great hook. Two things to note, first make sure you get the right size, I seem to always screw that up. A 4 is a smaller hook. A 4/0 is a larger hook - the /0's are larger hooks. Secondly, because these are offset, they are not good if you're doing catch and release; they have a greater tendency to hook fish, but also a greater tendency to hook them unrecoverably. So if you're doing catch and release, move on. If you're eating dinner, this is a good set.
These baitholder fishing hooks are excellent quality and offer great value for the price. The pack comes with plenty of sizes, which makes it super versatile whether you’re targeting bass, trout, crappie, or other species. The hooks are strong, sharp, and hold bait really well, especially soft and live baits.I’ve used them for both saltwater and freshwater fishing, and they’ve performed flawlessly in both environments. No rusting issues so far, and they maintain their sharpness even after multiple uses. The assortment of sizes is a huge plus — you can easily switch depending on the fish you’re after. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced angler, these hooks are dependable and well worth keeping in your tackle box.
These hooks are great but I would love to be able to get them in 8/0 size.
These hooks are very sharp, didn't miss any fluke strikes,so far
