08-03-2026Love my new Epson ET-4950. The first Epson ET-4950 I ordered jammed up the second day after I got it. That printer swallowed 21 pieces of paper at once. I have been using printers for over 25 years and this never ever happened before. Per instructions from an Amazon person, they said to get it out. It was a real struggle, but I got it all out. But then I got lousy printing. They referred me to Epson repair people. Still the prints were bad. Thankfully, Epson was quite willing to replace this first copier very quickly. I asked the repair rep why it swallowed so many pieces of paper at one time. What he told me was something EVERYBODY who buys this model should know. He said that if the printer is turned off, the paper should be removed from the paper tray before you turn it on. After it has been turned on, then put the paper back in. When I got the second printer. I followed his advice, so it has run perfectly and I have had ZERO problems. I really like the touch screen. I also like that I don't have to worry about my papers being dropped to the floor because I forgot to pull out the tray that catches the printed pages. This printer opens it automatically when you press the print button. It's a little slower than my old printer, but it's a whole lot less expensive to use. I think this printer is great!

08-03-2026It is good, when it works. First I had to call support to get AirPrint working. Now, occasionally I have to unplug and plug it back in so I can print to it. I have an almost 10 year old WF Epson printer that I would continue to use except it has become difficult to get ink cartridges. Decided to go for the tank printing. Hoping some patch will come along to get this printing reliably.

08-03-2026If I could enter a minus 10 I would. What ever you do DO NOT ORDER this printer. This is the first time I have ever had an Epson product and it will be the last. I ordered this on 10-8, it shipped on 10-9 and I installed in on 10-10-25. It worked a few days, off and on, then stopped all together. Will not hook up to the internet or our computer now at all. I and two employees have spent HOURS on the phone with the HORRIBLE support people who can hardly speak English, who get frustrated because everything they are doing is not working so they hang up on us. I called for a supervisor after hours on the phone today, they will not let you speak to anyone else, they are sending an email, I am to send PICTURES, what pictures??? There is nothing to show it just has an internal problem, nothing to see. And of course you can't call Amazon either and I missed the return date by two days. We have the ET4950 printer..Amazon needs to make sure the companies that are selling on there are accessible for problems, Epson is not! So I am out close to four hundred dollars for a printer that worked off and on for a bit, now nothing... I expected better out of Epson. I will be sure to share my experience with others.

08-03-2026LOVE THIS PRINTER!!!! I had this same printer 2 or 3 versions ago. It was a workhorse! I think the software must not have been supported by Epson anymore. This old printer stopped connecting to the internet... sometimes lol.I realized it was time for an upgrade. This is the latest version of the same printer.They have REALLY upped their game!! The ink tank design is absolutely brilliant! I used to use gloves because of the mess. This time...no gloves! The ink bottle is like it's smart! It comes out only when it is filling up the tank. I'm sure if I squeezed it, it would come out. But just turning the bottle upside down the ink doesn't come out!The ink setup was seamless! Sooooo easy!The whole setup was so easy! You download the app, and it takes you step by step. My kid could have done this.The design of the printer is beautiful. Love how it has a smaller foot print and the top is flat. They really got some brilliant engineers in designing this one. I'm super impressed.If you have never had a tank printer, you have no idea what you are missing! I used to spend hundreds of dollars on ink cartridges a year. Do they even sell those types of printers anymore? I fill up ink now maybe twice a year. Now with how simple this is, it takes less than 3 minutes literally!You can print hundreds if not thousands of pages. Love, love, love this printer!!!

08-03-2026Ok, I love this. We had another brand that would disconnect from wireless every few weeks and wouldn't work, so we decided to replace it. This machine prints super quickly and is so easy to connect to our computers and phones. The print quality was great and it seems like the ink will last much longer than we're used to!
