These are just like the ones at the hospital but a different color. The sponge is soft enough to not hurt but strong enough to clean. I love that these are individually wrapped.

These SOFT, small, sponge like material to get where the toothbrush can’t reach are great!(A little pre-information must be known to understand about the product review).I have a disease that the majority of people don’t know about and don’t understand how it affects life. It’s called CRPS, which is Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. It’s the attack of the nerves following a traumatic happening to the body’s limbs, may include migraines. Following a traumatic injury to my foot, it concluded that the bones close to the outside bones by left ankle, down to my toes. Solution? Tried PT, but the more use of it, the worse the pain got. Ordered an MRI concluded the bones fused together & the ruptured tendon from walking on it and more swelling increased. I was scheduled for surgery. 2 weeks later bones were separated, bone taken on outside of foot, & ruptured tendon in arch was repaired w/ bone from bone graft. 8 1/2 years later, CRPS has me encapsulated in my disease w/ everything I do, did, or trying to do to try to inch my way closer to trying to figure something out to feel better. Tried meds of all types & I take so many meds I have to see DR & not NP bc it’s beyond their ability by law. They keep telling me they are trying but federal law has restricted so much. The only higher pain meds are given to cancer suffering people & patients & I don’t have that.Recently I had 22 teeth pulled bc of the amount of rotting & infection, & breaking teeth. If you have this disease, the meds you take for longer than 5 yrs your teeth begin breaking. In all honesty, the process speeds up bc it is so tragically painful to get up & down any other reason to extend that need seems impossible. When I must go somewhere, that time decreases w/ every move. Shower, dressing, brushing teeth & drying hair is turning those movements up zapping my abilities for extras impossible. Crying trying to brush teeth through sobs doesn’t get teeth cleaned productively. So when 22 were pulled under general anesthesia bc of installing a pain pump my gums are still so sensitive & painful, I can’t even make a kiss to blow my grand baby one or my husband. I saw these & thought maybe they would feel a tiny bit better. YES, YES, YES! They’re much better for sensitive, throbbing gums. Also soak them in Listerene (??} Gum Sensitive mouthwash is so much better!! If you have to use something and toothbrush is impossible bc of pain, here’s your ANSWER AND CHOICE! Best wishes for you & your healing

Every product I buy, I test on myself first before giving it to my dementia dad. This oral swab tastes like chemicals and it may not have been washed properly. You have to rinse it about 4 times before that chemical taste goes away. As long as you rinse it first, it should be fine.
