This mount does the job and my projector is securely attached, but I have to be honest - it was pretty frustrating to get it positioned just right. The adjustment mechanisms are a bit tricky to tighten down properly, and I found myself going up and down the ladder multiple times trying to dial in the perfect angle. Once you finally get it locked in though, it holds steady and the 360° rotation is great for repositioning when needed. Just be prepared to spend some extra time with the installation. For the price, it's still a solid option if you have the patience!
Works great, it's a ceiling mount but as you can see it works just as great on the wall. Easy to set up as well highly recommend
The Aurzen projector mount is intended for use as a ceiling mount. There are essentially three main parts; the adjustable stem, a base plate and a decorative metal cover plate. The stem is pretty nice. It is metal and has a 1/4-20 mount for photo-type accessories and has a sturdy ball-mount at the top. Mid-stem there is a lock ring for adjusting the length. This part is very sturdy. The challenge comes in looking at the base. It's plastic. It does have a metal threaded sleeve in the middle, but the rest is plastic. The assembly is capped off with the metal finish plate that conceals the plastic base. I would say that as a ceiling mount, I would not put anything heavy on it as I'm not confident in the interface between the plastic base and the threaded sleeve in it. You might be able to mount a so-called "pico projector" on this, but nothing heavier and higher performance (or more valuable). The good thing is that it could be an amazing (and affordable) desktop stand for a wide range of cameras and accessories. The stem is sturdy and could handle a fair amount of weight. There is low risk of tipping depending on how you load it. You might add a bit of thick felt or thin foam rubber sheeting to the bottom of the base for anti-skid. Too bad it doesn't come with something like this. Summary: 'Yes' for desktop, 'No' for ceiling mount (unless the projector is very, very light).
