08-03-2026My daughter is 8.5, thin, and slightly taller than average. As you can see, the shirt is HUGE. It seems like it would fit an average 10 year old, or even a bit larger. But the skirt fits her nicely. So they seem very mismatched size-wise.As you can see in the pictures, the front of the bottoms also hangs much more diagonally than in the pictures. It looks a little wonky.At the same time the bottoms are super soft and feel so nice. They will be a nice fall skirt.I have to admit that it's a good deal at the current price (about $12), but probably only if your kiddo is happy to wear it as separate pieces.

I ordered the size 9–10 for our almost 9-year-old (67 lbs, 4’6”), and it fits slightly big on her, but she’s slender for her size. I could have probably sized down for a more fitted look, but like that she has room to grow. She says it’s comfortable and likes the style. I like that the top and skort can be mixed and matched with other clothing for more outfit options. It would look adorable in the winter paired with tights and boots. The light blue color is just as shown in the photos, and the material held up well after washing and drying with no shrinking. It’s a good value for the price and a versatile outfit for cooler weather.

The shorts are the best part - they are made from a really nice thick fabric and I love that they are shorts disguised as a skirt. The shirt is OK - the fabric is much thinner and the neck is fairly wide, which can be a bit awkward on a little kid.The thing that’s a little weird about this set is the seasonality. It’s shorts, which might be too cold to wear during autumn in some areas, but it’s really thick fabric, which would be too warm for summer wear.
