This is a nice flashlight. It looks like a spotlight with no diffused light. It does not seem a lot brighten than the 2000 lumens flashlight I recently purchased. The one click off/on button and adjustable focus features are both nice!
I bought this 2-pack of rechargeable flashlights, cause I always give these to my kids. They’re super bright, much brighter than I expected, and the beam reaches far enough for just about anything I need, whether I’m walking outside at night or checking around the house.I really like that they have three light modes you can switch with just one click, and the LCD display showing the battery power is very convenient. The battery life has been great so far; I’ve used one for several evenings, and it still had plenty of charge left. Having the USB-C charging makes it really convenient, and I like that it can even double as a power bank if needed. The size feels comfortable in the hand, not too big, lightweight, the build feels solid and durable.Overall, these flashlights are a great buy, bright, long-lasting, and easy to use. Perfect for camping, or just keeping around the house.
Love this flashlight! I take walks almost every night. The light is great at allowing vehicles to see me from a great distance. The narrow beam is great a searching further ahead for animals. Fast charging time and the mini flashlight that comes with it. It's a nice bonus. Highly recommended.Oh, the narrow beam is so strong at full power, it looks like you're carrying a mini spotlight when pointing up at the sky. The light beam is cool to look at.
This is a great super-bright flashlight. The first thing you notice is its premium, rock-solid construction. It has a substantial, reassuring weight in your hand that signals durability and high-quality materials, not cheap plastic. Despite this heft, it's remarkably easy to operate with intuitive, user-friendly functionality. Its power system is versatile. The included 6000mAh lithium-ion battery recharges quickly when paired with a fast-charging adapter. And for more peace of mind, it also allows you to use 3 standard AAA batteries as a ready backup should the lithium battery ever run out of juice. This eliminates the anxiety of being left in the dark. The light output is very bright, providing powerful illumination that cuts through the darkness. For anyone who drives, this flashlight is an absolute must-have. It transforms a stressful situation, like a nighttime breakdown or roadside tire change, from a hazardous ordeal into a manageable task. It's a genuine lifesaver that you hope you never need but will be profoundly grateful to have. The package includes a fantastic bonus: a sleek, pen-style flashlight. This mini flashlight with a clip is surprisingly bright for its size and lightweight, making it perfect for your pocket. It runs on 2 AAA batteries, ensuring you always have a portable light source with you. You truly never know when you'll need it.This flashlight is a well-engineered piece of gear built to last. The combination of its robust construction, blinding brightness, flexible power options, and the useful bonus pen light makes this set an unbeatable steal for the price. I cannot recommend it highly enough!
- These ship with a thin, blue, plastic insulator on the negative side of the battery. Remove the battery cap, remove the blue plastic insulator which was put on the battery negative end by manufacturing to prevent battery discharge. Nothing that came in the box tells you to do that. Consequently, you will find reviews that say they bought them and neither of them worked.- Reality check: The flashlight says it has a 5000 mah battery, which is about right for a quality long-life 26650 battery. The ones that advertise 6000+ mah are either lying, hopefully, or they really do have that power and will have a matching short battery life. Flashlight makers lie like rug when it comes to lumens. A car HID headlight is between 3,000 and 4,000 lumens. With the long battery life people are getting from a 5000 mah battery and not getting hot on your hand, the output is obviously nowhere near 10,000 lumens nor consuming 30 watts. Many of these kinds of flashlights use the same pill (switch, electronics, sink, and LED. One such model that we have real specs for and uses the same size 26650 battery is the Phixton PH2403. Initial lumens is 735 lm. Within 30 seconds it drops to 660 lm. The lumens after 5 minutes 00:05:00 is 200 lm, which it will maintain to 01:15:00 after which it will step down to 185 lm, after 2:00:00. It drops to 180 lm., after 02:45:00 it drops to 175 lm. Through a series of steps, it will be 150 lm by 03:45:00, after which it will follow a near straight line to zero at 04:30:00. They advertise the identically outfitted Phixton as having 2000 lumens instead of 10,000 lumens. A real 2000 lm flashlight requires a well-heat-sinked LED of much larger size, and a larger finned aluminum body. Even so, it will still get hot. It will use multiple batteries this size and zoomed in it will start paper on fire. You can tell by looking at the size of the LED on this one that it can't even be in the 950-1050 lm range. So when comparing lights, unless you know the LED it is using, and the Lithium-Ion battery(s) it uses, and the reflector it uses, you don’t have enough information to even ballpark the lumens coming out of the flashlight because they lie so much. Usually the long on-times advertised are in strobe mode where it spends a significant amount of time off. Still, as users say, the flashlight produces plenty of light and has a good long life. It has a smart, well-thought-out pill with great features. It has a poor CRI of 76 but people don't depend on colors showing accurately from an LED flashlight and that sacrifice gains you more usable light out of the LED.- Amazon's description of its operation is quite accurate. It says you charge the flashlight through the USB-C port from a USB-C source. You can use it as a power bank for your phone if you use the USB-A interface with a USB-A to USB-C power cable. YOU CANNOT USE a USB-A to USB-C SMART CABLE, nor can you charge the flashlight through the USB-A port. One thing that is not clear from the description is how the modes work. It is the best of both worlds. Click once and it is on high. Click again and it turns off. To get it into low mode, click once to turn it on, then click and hold for 2 seconds. If you want the SOS strobe, click and hold again for another 2 seconds. A single click without holding in any of the modes turns it off. The description mentions that it has memory which infers that it retains your last setting when you turn it on. Some flashlights have that feature but these do NOT, meaning the description is inaccurate in that regard.- Fit and finish: This is very good and the fine threads on the battery cap are cut well. The zoom on both worked smoothly and consistently. The back of the flashlight/battery cap is recessed so it can stand vertically. It also doesn’t have the crenulated bezel which is only useful for spilling light out of the sides when standing inverted, makes the light longer, and tears holes in pockets. Any mention of crenulated bezels having tactical self-defense significance is hilarious. That is Maglite 4D territory.- Other reviews: When you check out the reviews, sort them with the latest reviews first because the design has changed over time. For instance, you will see reviews where the sides light up, and they have areas that glow with the light on. The machining marks are still there, but thankfully that nonsense has been eliminated. The ones you will receive will be like those ones in the current description. Some mention a 6,000 mah battery and the latest ones will be 5000 mah. Another thing you want to do is filter by 2-pack if that is what you are considering so you don't get reviews for a different design because there are more differences than how many come on the box.- Value: While true, I can get four smaller ones for the price of one of these, in fact I have about a dozen around the house and center consoles on cars. However, their battery life is only ~10-15 minutes, and you never know what state of charge they are in. They are usually used for a few seconds at a time. Electronically, they are USB-A rather than USB-C. Even if they have a USB-C port, they require a USB-A to USB-C charging cable, and cannot use a Smart Cable. They have their place and are better than a smart phone. However, you also need something “real”. Laptops do not have USB-A ports anymore, making the cheaper ones not good for travel unless you bring a USB-A charger for them. If you need a flashlight that needs to “be there” when you need it, and you can depend on it for more than a few minutes, you need something like these. For aviation, they exceed the dependable flashlight requirement. You can see the state of charge before you start and know that it has hours in it. They are great for pre-flights. These with their combination of quality, practical charging methods, knowing their state of charge, and long battery life, make these flashlights an incredible value. Compare it to the $100 Fenix PD36R or Ledlenser P7R Core and tell me which one you would rather have.PS: The moment I wrote this review the price for two of these went from $30 to $50. Sorry, my bad.
I got this rechargable flashlight for my husband to keep in his car. It is the perfect size to fit right in the side pocket of the door. I was excited to see it even comes with a tiny flashlight he uses at work alot. It has an easy to read digital display of the battery life which is pretty handy. I like the colors on the flashlight they glow after you turn the light off for a few seconds. They include the charging cord which is a type C. It comes pre-charged and the battery seems to hold from the times we have used it. It is lightweight weight but super bright. The end is adjustable to either pinpoint the light or to have a wider range of view. It seems like a great value for what u get.
