My 9 year old wanted to her birthday and let's just say she's pleased. It's easy to carry around and keeps her engaged. She couldn't wait to show her friends.Keep in mind this is a mini phone so it's easy to fit in their pockets. You can also download apps on this just like any phone.Dont let the size fool you !I'm happy with the purchase.
I expected this little phone to be slow and it is. But that does not bother me. what does bother me is the pill cutout at the top of the screen which pretty much is for show and you cant get rid of it. It never goes away. I know that area is actually workable screen area because if you put an app on the phone to flip the screen and make your apps upside down the menus are perfectly visible. That didn't work however because it introduced other issues. It is always in the way of menu items in most of my apps which makes this phone unusable. If that cutout was not there this would be a good little phone for using when you don't want a big device in your pocket like when wearing a formal suit etc.
It stays in the side pocket of a backpack most of the time so it can be pulled out quickly on the way to activities or when waiting to be picked up. The clear case has already done its job after a couple of bumps, and the lightweight feel makes it comfortable to hold for a few minutes at a time. Connecting to Wi-Fi has been smooth, and while the response speed is generally fine, there is the occasional slight delay that might just be common with Android devices. The screen shows a sharp picture for watching a short video, checking something online, or snapping a quick photo, and the touch response has been consistent. Charging overnight has been enough to get through the whole next day, and setting it up was straightforward apart from changing a few settings to make it easier to navigate.
No complaints besides the phone wouldn't pick up any bars. Witch is a major problem. The only problem but a big one
False advertisement. Screen way smaller around bezel. Amazon advertisement photo shows LCD going to the edge of phone. Also the camera masking is huge on the selfie camera rendering the top 8 percent of the screen hidden forever. Tiny, slow, Android, USBC. Perfect for kids, but BS pictures. Mine came scratched
So far this is perfect. Giving to my 9 year old for Xmas- will not be using a SIM card just yet, so he only can use on WiFi. Works just like a normal phone. It’s a little slow and lags a little, but I don’t mind. I just wish you could remove all the apps you didn’t want off the Home Screen.
Great, compact phone. Exactly what my friend wanted. Not bulky like a normal sized cell phone.
This small smartphone was a great gift for my daughter. The size is perfect for her to carry around, and it doesn’t feel heavy in her pocket. She mainly uses it to listen to music, take photos, and message family members, and everything works smoothly. The storage space is enough for her favorite apps, and the battery lasts through the day without a problem. It feels durable and safe for kids, while still offering all the basic features of a real smartphone. Overall, it gives her some independence while giving me peace of mind
