This is a great vest and the ability to add weight to it sets it apart from others. This one fits well and is adjustable in the shoulders and waist, makes a huge impact for women or broad shoulder individuals. The ankle weights are a great bonus too. The other vests were very limited with weight adjustments, and fit. I enjoy this vest goes from 5-20 lbs with little effort. My walks are burning more calories and I feel stronger.

I love my LifePro weighted vest! After breast cancer, a hysterectomy, and ongoing hormone therapy, my doctors recommended weight-bearing exercise to protect my bones and joints. This vest has been a game-changer.I like that it’s adjustable—you can add or remove weights, use the included ankle weights on your ankles or in the vest, and increase gradually as you get stronger (The wraps that go around your ankles have sand bags in there that you can keep in or take out to adjust the weight). The reflective strips are also a thoughtful touch for evening walks, runs, or biking. The only drawback is fit: the Velcro doesn’t fully close if your waist is wider (my husband wasn’t able to use it & he's not that large). That said, every LifePro product I’ve tried has been excellent, and I highly recommend this vest!

I've always wanted a weighted vest and after a few years of stewing on the idea... I finally decided to give it a try! This one definitely delivers and offers plenty of benefits to elevate my workouts and offers a great way to add extra resistance to a variety of exercises, while challenging my overall endurance. One of the features I love most is its versatility. The removable weights can also be used as leg or arm resistance for different types of training, such as walking, running, jumping, HIIT, boxing, or classic exercises like push-ups and pull-ups. Personally, I bought it mainly to add extra weight to my pull-ups, which have always been one of my favorite exercises. What makes this vest stand out though, is that you can precisely customize the resistance by removing individual weight bags from any part of the vest. Allowing to tailor the weight to your specific workout needs. That being said, there are a few minor drawbacks for me personally, though they’re not deal breakers. The vest is a bit bulky, which is expected, but I feel the weight distribution could have been designed slightly better. It tends to feel bottom-heavy rather than evenly balanced. It’s not a major issue since it still performs exactly as intended, but a more balanced design would make the experience even better.Because of this, the vest also sticks out a bit more than I expected. That slight protrusion limits my ability to perform deeper push-ups, since the vest hits the floor before my elbows can fully retract behind my shoulders. Even when I tighten the Velcro strap around my midsection, my range of motion is still seems slightly restricted.Aside from that small issue.. I think this is a very solid product that delivers the right amount of weight and resistance. Eventually, I may need to upgrade to a heavier option as I continue to build strength, but for now, it provides the perfect level of challenge in my routine. The Velcro strap is also high quality and stays securely fastened, even during intense workouts. So no need to worry about any part of the vest coming undone during intense movement.Overall, this vest is an excellent addition to my at-home workouts. I don’t usually bring gear like this to the gym or wear it for outdoor runs, but for building strength and endurance from home, it’s exactly what I was looking for! Well worth the investment IMO.

I thought my first weighted vest was good. Turns out, I was just being polite. This one makes that one look like a practice round. When I bought my old vest, I didn’t realize the weight should line up with your bodyweight, so it always felt off. This one fits properly, and it’s instantly noticeable. The weight sits where it should, not pulling at my shoulders or creeping up my neck. The fabric feels durable but not stiff, and it doesn’t trap heat the way some do. The reflective strips are a nice touch for early walks, and the Velcro is strong enough to feel secure but not like a wrestling match when I want it off. Bonus points for the phone pocket that actually fits a modern phone and doesn’t flop around while I move. The ankle weights were a surprise win. I didn’t think I’d use them much, but they add great flexibility when I’m switching between walking, squats, and rehab work. And I like that I can slide them into the vest pockets when I want a bigger challenge.I’ve been using it on the treadmill, and it makes a noticeable difference without feeling like punishment. It’s well-balanced, well-built, and clearly designed by someone who’s used one before. If you’re new to weighted vests, take your measurements and get the one that matches your current weight, not the number you’re aiming for. I made that mistake once. Won’t do it again. This is the one I’ll be sticking with.
