It would be a huge improvement if it had a small clip to properly secure the opening.This thermal phone case is a really nice and cool product that serves its main purpose well: protecting your phone from temperature extremes and everyday wear. The thermal protection and eye-catching color are definite highlights. However, the lack of a secure closing mechanism is a major drawback. If you’re willing to deal with the minor inconvenience of having to tie a knot or rely on the carabiner, this is a great pouch. Otherwise, you might want to consider other options.

Very handy to use a the beach to protect my phone from the heat.

This is a beautiful pouch for keeping it safe from the sun. I take it to the pool in a waterproof cover to listen to music. I used to use a towel to cover it to prevent it from overheating. This is a good replacement. If it closed properly and was water proof it’d be even better. Overall, I like it. It does what it claims to do, except close completely.

Kept my phone cold during my holidays would deffo recommend

I'm a winter sports enthusiast - cross-country skiing especially - and notice that my phone becomes sluggish in the cold after several hours of cold exposure. It's not the right time of the year for me to be able to test this thermal phone case, but it seems to be made of quality material - similar to a puffer style coat - same material inside and out. There is a drawstring with a carabiner style clip.The drawstring doesn't completely seal the case when my phone is inserted unless tied. Let me explain: when the drawstring is pulled tight, it loosens up - I'd have to tie a knot to achieve complete closure which is doable. However, I think a better workaround would be to seal with velcro (I have some that I plan to affix to create more of an occlusive seal.) I'm not going to knock down the review by a star, since I don't know if a bit of breathability might be better for temperature regulation, but we'll see when winter is here how the case performs. It's a nice price and a trendy gift idea too. My pics show the phone in its cellophane packaging (upright pic) and the phone slipcase itself (diagonal pic.) My phone fit inside without an issue. Product is true to size stated in listing.
