This is a good value, at just $39.98, since professional equipment for a setup like this is way more expensive, but also higher quality. But I think for the amateur photographer or someone wanting soft light for making videos, this is a great way to get that effect at an affordable price. The smaller price also allows you to afford more than one, for an even more professional-looking lighting setup. It's easy to set up and doesn't take up too much space when stowing it away.

purtroppo non posso dire di essere soddisfatta di queste softbox, le lampade e l'illuminazione vanno bene ma il problema sono i cavalletti.... rispetto a quelli delle softbox comprate anni fa questi sono veramente di bassa qualità, da subito ho notato che le gambe del treppiede che sorregge l'asta estendibile tendevano ad aprirsi una volta fissare e non in modo omogeneo quindi l'asta e la lampada so inclinavano... Ma quel difetto ho pensato che avrei potuto facilmente risolverlo, il problema è che anche le sezioni dell'asta estendibile una volta estese si inclinano rendendo la softbox una "torre di Pisa" parecchio instabile... Non le ricomprerei purtroppo

The adjustable color temperature and brightness settings are incredibly useful. I can go from warm tones to crisp daylight with just the remote. The light is soft and diffused, which helps eliminate harsh shadows. The tripod folds down small enough to fit in a carry on, it's very lightweight, which is a huge bonus for travel. The LED bulb is bright, quiet, and runs cool even after long sessions. It feels like a professional setup but without the bulk or high cost, and it’s already become one of my go to lights.

Je suis étudiant et mon logement n’est pas malheureusement pas très lumineux, j’utilise donc cet éclairage lorsque je fais du streaming.Franchement ça change tout ! la lumière est propre, bien diffuseL’installation est le montage sont très simples et rapide. Le rendu fait tout de suite plus pro et agréable à l’écran pour ceux qui me suivent.Il y a aussi une télécommande pour régler la température et l’intensité de la lumière, c’est top pratique, ça m’évite de bouger en plein livePetit regret quand même : le branchement est en prise secteur classique, j’aurai préféré une prise en USB-A, ça m’aurait permis de l’alimenter avec une batterie externe, et donc de l’utiliser aussi dans un endroit sans prise électrique. Dommage, parce que ça aurait rendu le kit encore plus polyvalentAutre petit point négatif, il n’est pas hyper stable et il faut faire attention à ne pas le bousculer, car il tombe facilement, heureusement que l’ampoule n’est pas en verre…Sinon pour le prix, c’est un bon kit complet, facile à installer et avec un très bon rendu

I want to be as fair as I can about reviewing this - I was really intrigued with the idea of a soft box, light source and a stand for so little money and wanted to see what it could do.I'm giving it four stars -It is actually a functional semi-soft light source with adjustable color temperature and a stand and carry case - all of which do their job and work as described - its not super sturdy or durable and its not a "great light" but I can't imagine getting any more for the price.The stand is short and flimsy - but the soft box doesn't weight very much and the combination works with a little care. The short stand keeps the entire kit fitting in a small bag and very light weightThe soft box frame is a bit like a four rib umbrella and opens and latches open really easily.The diffuser has small corner pockets and velcro on the four sides that mate with the box - it actually works well - no light leaks and it stays in place.The lamp is unusual and for its price, quite usable and controllable - maybe the most interesting part of the kit. It offers three preset color temperatures but like many, the brightness varies as you go from warm to white to bright white and "white" is the brightest as it is using both sets of LED's mixed together. This is all controllable from the remote as well as four preset lighting levels. Where things get more interesting and useful is that the color and the brightness can also be adjusted using the arrow keys - to values between the preset values - giving much finer control over color and brightness - not as repeatable but very adjustable. I can't verify the color rendering but its decent - the "white" being the best.Brightness isn't super impressive but its actually fine for close work and on full brightness, it does have some reach -I think the single biggest weakness is how the lamp and the soft box work together - the lamp faces forward and has a diffuser dome on the front but its positioned quite far forward in the box structure - its close to the diffuser and doesn't take full advantage of the box's reflective sides. This produces a somewhat soft light but its quite center heavy. It is still a lot softer than without the box - it's useful without the diffuser if you need a semi-hard light source.Overall?This actually is a significant amount of light with a lot of control over color and brightness at this price -Professional gear? No - But I still think its' a decent value - when pro gear isn't essential - it can make a big improvement in your lighting for very little investment.The box will collapse most of the way with the lamp still installed and while it won't fit back in the sleeve, even with the lamp installed everything does easily fit back in the larger bag - even with the diffuser still on - so this can be setup in very little time.Inexpensive but useful little kit

I primarily use this light for my recording workbench, where I record drone builds and do product reviews. This light does the perfect job of distributing and diffusing light over the workbench area and blends perfectly with my companion lights using the adjustable light temperature and brightness features.From the companion controller, the color and brightness can be adjusted. There are three present color modes as well as three brightness presets for quick adjustments. If fine-tuning is required, the arrow keys allow you to make micro adjustments to find the perfect color and brightness.As for the apparatus itself, the kit comes with a tripod with four extension segments and foldable legs. It also comes with the softbox umbrella and diffuser cover, as well as a pair of gloves to keep oils off the cover, the bulb, remote, and storage case. The light features a standard, adjustable mount that can be removed easily and is compatible with most tripods and mounts. It also comes with a bag for transport or storage.The light is an excellent value at $32, but you get what you pay for. The tripod is relatively low-grade; however, it is lightweight. The main cost of this light is the bulb itself. The bulb is where all the tech is located. If the bulb ever goes out, then this whole apparatus is disposable, as replacement bulbs are equal to or greater than the cost of the entire kit.My example of this light likely has a limited memory of its settings. During one session, I turned it off and on multiple times, and it retained the light color and brightness, but the next day I came back and it defaulted back to the warm setting. I tested this a second time to see how long it retains its settings. After a few minutes, it resets back to its default state when it's off. I’m guessing there must be a capacitor that acts as a limited battery, but once it’s off for a while, it depletes the cap and loses memory of the settings. This is unfortunate because I will likely use this light in the same setting most of the time.Overall, I really like this light. Despite the memory issue, I’m still rating this light high because of the value. Anyone running a home studio or trying to start one should get this, as it's a better option than paying hundreds and is perfect for small spaces.

Transformed my work, this is an amazing peice of kit. The lighting can be adjusted remotely. It has three predet temperatures, white, cool and warm. However you can adjust the colour temp to suit your needs. Brightness can also be adjusted remotely.
