The bristles are very nice, so far no loss of them, they’re well made and do welll with coverage for foundation, blush and eye makeup. I bought 3 sets of them (2 as gifts) the only brush I like better is a double sided foundation brush I bought from Ulta which was around same price . I bought a set for both my daughters, one of whom is a free lance makeup artist and she sues them for herself.

I typically don't mind any factory new scent. I weirdly kind of like it...but these are sooo strong I immediately choked when I opened these. I don't know if you need to air them out or wash them several days in a row ... but omg, the chemical glue smell is something I've never been hit so hard with. I usually buy brushes from IT cosmetics, but they dont have alot of small detail brushes, so I tried these bcz I needed a bunch of smaller eye brushes that fit in my purse. The reviews seemed great....Plus I heard cheap brands like Elf, can be just as soft.... They are soft. Not the softest. The variety is good, not amazing. I found different ones on Amazon that are in a set that come in a travel bag that I am using now instead bcz they arrived at the same time and have a better variety without this crazy strong smell. I might return these.If you're sensitive to chemical smells or chemicals at all be cautious, maybe upgrade to another set. The scent is strong no matter what color you buy. I bought both the purple and the champagne ones. They each come in a black plastic hardcover case that is convenient if you wanna just open it and set it upright on the table, then put the top back on and travel with them... that part was good.

Love the hard case that they come in and there’s a brush for everything. Bought slot of brushes over the years and this is a set that I know will last be an awhile. Definitely comparable to high end brushes!

Good quality brushes in this price range. Comes with lot of tools that are really helpful. All in all a good buy

Not a bad set of brushes for the price. The bristles are nice and soft and they seem well made. I wouldn't necessarily use them for their individual inteded use but everyones different. My only disslike is that some are a bit too soft and some are a bit too firm. One big brush for powder wth slightly longer bristles would be nice as they're a bit too tight to apply an all over even coverage. Some of the flat eyeshadow brushes are a bit too firm and the round ones a bit too loose. In saying that though for the price there are still some good brushes in the kit that i use daily. A good set if you already have some brushes and are looking to add a few extra.
