My 8 yr old has become particular about what he wears heading into the 3rd grade. He loves a "skater" look. I was trying to find some items to transition from summer into fall and saw this set offered for a great price under $20. I showed him and he liked the layered look of the top. When it arrived, it was better than I had hoped for! I used the size chart to order a 11-12 so he's have a little growing room for the fall/winter months- it fits exactly as I wanted. The blue is a very attractive soft blue- not baby blue and not bright- just a lovely shade. There is a little hint of a shirt around the collar and the hemline that makes it look layered, although it's not- so the shirt is comfortable and a nice weight. The black pants are also soft and very comfortable with an elastic waistband and move and stretch with him. I also love that the pieces can mix and match with his other pieces of clothing in his wardrobe. It's a slam dunk for less than $10 a piece!

Very thin. Not suitable for winter wear. Rather disappointed.
