The price of $9.99 is a great price especially since you get five pairs in different colors. The variety makes it easy to mix and match with any outfit or hiking gear. The socks are soft, warm, and super comfortable — I wore them on a 5-mile hike on Bull Hill in Cold Spring, NY, and my feet stayed cozy the entire time without getting sweaty or sore. The stretchy cuff and arch support give a nice snug fit without feeling tight, and they don’t slip down or bunch up while walking. The material blend (polyester, acrylic, cotton, spandex, nylon, and other fibers) feels durable yet breathable. I also love that they’re moisture-wicking, which kept my feet dry even after hours of hiking. They fit true to size — I wear a women’s 8 and the fit was perfect. These would be great not just for hiking, but also for working outdoors, lounging at home, or wearing them camping on cold days.If you’re looking for warm, well-made, and affordable socks that can handle both trails and daily wear, this 5-pack is a solid buy.

I'm torn with how many stars to give these socks based on what they actually are, versus what they are advertised to be.What they are: thin (similar my summer weight pairs from Darn Tough) hiking socks of unclear fiber makeup. They fit great (women's size 9.5 shoe) and stay up without binding, which I really like. The colors are attractive and they are quite affordable compared to typical hiking socks. They are pretty comfortable although not quite as soft as they could be. They don't restrict my toes or heels. My issues are with how they are marketed - the description says warm, winter, and wool. They did not come with any documentation as to what they are made of nor any washing instructions. They came vacuum packed in a bag with no information on it other than their origin in China. The product description lists a bunch of fibers, none of which are wool, unless wool is the "5% other". They feel like they could have some wool in them, but who knows? They are also quite thin - barely thicker than typical business crew socks. They are perfectly comfortable to wear on days in the high 70s and they aren't mostly wool, so there is no way they will be appropriately warm for winter. I also worry about how well they will hold up - after one wear and wash they were already starting to pill a bit.So, if you need walking/hiking socks for temperate climates or 3 seasons and don't want to pay much, these are probably a good choice. If you want socks that are going to keep you warm on winter hikes, I'd choose actual wool hiking socks in a thicker knit.

These socks are fantastic! They’re warm, soft, and super comfortable without being too thick. The material blend feels high quality and does a great job of keeping my feet cozy while also wicking away moisture. I’ve worn them for hiking and around the house, and they hold up great in both situations. The stretchy cuff and arch support make a noticeable difference—they stay in place all day and fit snugly without cutting off circulation. They really do feel supportive, which makes them perfect for long walks or outdoor work in cold weather. The 5-pack is a great value, and the colors look nice too. Whether you’re buying them for yourself or as a gift, you can’t go wrong. Warm, durable, and comfortable—these are easily my new favorite winter socks.

They are so warm and comfortable. They aren't too tight at the top but not loose enough to fall down. I love the colors.

Review of Nimalpal Socks for Women - 5 Pairs Winter Warm Hiking SocksThe first thing I noticed with these socks is the pretty array of colors. They have a slight compression band around the middle with a matching smaller band on the cuff. I would definitely not say they are for the winter because they are medium weight made with a blend of materials. Please note there is NO WOOL in these socks as stated in one of the pictures. Both my wife and I can wear these as they have good stretch, however with bigger feet they do become slightly sheer. (Note: my size 11 M foot is bigger than the size range stated, so no complaint here, just sharing how they fit me.) They are quite comfortable for everyday wear and do not slide down into my sneakers or boots. The quality and stitching seem good and they did wash well. After wearing the entire day my feet stayed nice and dry. They’re a good value at < $3/pair at review time.Earns 4 stars because these are comfortable, attractive unisex socks. I deducted 1 star because these are not wool socks (as stated) and I’d prefer a bit more cushioning and warmth for winter hiking.

I usually prefer a solid dark color for my clothes but I really like the style of these. The way the colors match so well and you can tell they're all from the same set is nice. They're not as thin as dress socks and they're not as thick as traditional hiking socks. They are comfortable and a good fit. They stayed up without any slouching and I had no issues with the toe seams.I wear a men's size 9 and these still fit me just fine though they do get a little sheer in the most stretched areas but that doesn't bother me at all. The material isn't particularly soft but it's also not really rough. I didn't notice the texture while wearing them though, they felt just fine. My feet didn't get sweaty while wearing these out in the heat and that's a big plus. The package shows that the socks will 'fluff' or 'thicken' after washing but I didn't notice a difference. They're a really good value for the number of pairs and the quality that you get.
