08-03-2026I'm very happy with this set of split shot sinkers. I primarily fish with popping corks and live bait, and this kit offers the perfect flexibility. On calm days, I don't use a weight, but when there's wind or current, I can easily select the perfect size from this assortment to get my bait down to the right depth.Using fishing pliers, they are easy to clamp onto the line (I place them about 3-4 inches above the hook) and they hold securely. As you can see from my photos, they come well-packaged in separate bags with a handy case for organization in my tackle box.For the quantity and variety you receive, this is an excellent value for the money. They work really well for my needs, and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase them again. Highly recommended.

08-03-2026Who fishes and doesn't need extra split shots? Where I am in Florida, tackle can fly off the shelves so I resorted to Amazon and I always need weights. Although this came with a bunch, they are mostly the smaller ones that I don't use as frequently. The largest ones in this set are the ones I typically use the most but having several sizes can be handy. They weigh no different than what you would get at your local tackle shop so they will do they job. I can use those smaller ones I would normally skip on my pan fishing poles saving the larger ones for other needs which adds a layer of functionality and value. They are easily added to your lines and easy to remove. The bigger ones I can just use my hand to take them off but any pliers will do the job. Overall, good product. Just would have liked more of the bigger ones

08-03-2026These are not the specifies weights! Yes I actually weighed them on a calibrated digital scale lol! The 4s are all 3.8, the threes 2.8, etc etc! Fraudulent advertising. I could live with that even for steelhead but THEY CAME ALL MIXED UP!!!! ALL SIZES MIXED TOGETHER!!! BUY AMERICAN MADE LEAD!! This crap probably isn't lead
