I have been so impressed with this kitchen tool and it has quickly become something I reach for all the time. The size is perfect because it holds plenty of meat without being too large to store and the design is simple sturdy and very easy to handle. I really like the clear top since it lets me see exactly how the meat is shredding which makes the whole process smoother and more controlled. The overall quality feels excellent and every part is solid with no flimsy pieces or weak spots.One of my favorite features is that it can be used while the food is still hot. This saves a lot of time especially during meal prep when everything is coming out fresh and warm. It shreds chicken pork and beef evenly and quickly and the meat stays tender with no change in taste or texture. The twist motion is smooth does not require much strength and makes the whole process mess free. The ease of use is outstanding and it makes prepping meals much faster. Cleaning it is also incredibly simple because the parts rinse off easily and do not trap food.For the price the value is amazing. It works better than many electric options and does not take up extra space or require plugs or cords. It is reliable durable easy to use and makes cooking so much easier. I am very happy with it and can confidently give it five stars for quality functionality and overall performance.

Wonderful kitchen tool! Just put in your cooked chicken, give a few twists and your chicken shreds. The more you twist it, the finer the shredding. What a time saver in the kitchen- my husband can shred the chicken while I am doing other cooking chores. A MUST!!

The knobs were a bit challenging to put in and cant put too much chicken in but otherwise works well. Easy to wash

This shredder tool works really well and is especially helpful when trying to meal prep or make big meals last longer. We still enjoy making large roast meals occasionally even when there are only a couple of people eating. One of the things we do with the leftover meat (turkey, chicken, beef, pork), is to chop it up and freeze it in small portions to save on buying canned "flakes of" meat to make sandwiches later on. This can be time-consuming and painful when using a knife and cutting board, but this shredder tool makes the process so much easier, less painful, and ensures we don't lose any of the meat.I love that the shredder tool base stays attached to the counter/table surface while I'm twisting the top vigorously. I was worried that it would slide around, but the rubber base keeps it in place securely. I also really like that the entire tool is washer machine-safe -- the brush tool that comes with it is great for getting the bulk of the flakes of meat out of the spikes during rinsing, but running it through the dishwasher ensures it gets completely clean.

I didn't expect to love this shredder, but it worked surprisingly well for me, letting me finish a tedious and time consuming chore in seconds. Not only was I able to shred soft rotisserie chicken efficiently, it also did a great job shredding a roast beef and even a pork loin, which is much harder to do the traditional way using two forks. Not all the shredded pieces look uniform, but that's not something I could achieve with forks either. The shredder is surprisingly stable and doesn't slide around on the counter. I like that I can see through the lid and stay in control of how I want the meat shredded, with a chunkier thteads with fewer turns, and more fine texture with more spins. Every so often I need to open the lid and rearrange the pieces if some get stuck to the lid. I was worried that cleaning all the spikes would be a headache, but a simple rinse easily got rid of the meat stuck to the spikes, even without using the brush, possibly because I washed the shredder right away after using it. My least favorite part is emptying the shredder. When I cover the bottom part filled with pulled meat with a plate, turn it upside down and give it a tap, most but not all of the meat comes out, and I need another tool (a fork works fine for me) to finish the job. Other than that, it's a fantastic product if you often cook with shredded meat.

Best kitchen purchase ever! It saves me so much time when i am cooking, its a great size and very durable. Its very easy and fast to use! The best part is i can use it on hot chicken coming out of a crock pot and very easy to clean!

It shreds! This 10" chicken shredder is a simple design that easily helps to shred a chicken breast with little effort. Its a simple set up process, by just installing the two handles into their slots firmly.This shredder tool is made of a BPA-free plastic, which seems ideally durable for its use with a non-skid bottom that does hold while you utilize the shredder. Simple back and forth movements while holding the handles are all it takes to maneuver this kitchen tool for shredding. The more you shift it back and forth, the more it shreds. It beats cutting with a knife or utilizing hand tools if you have arthritis, this does make shredding your favorite meats easier I found. I feel this is a practical kitchen tool to have, and makes shredding those meats much easier. I was able to do one chicken breast and another time two, both times successfully. As for cleaning, it does come with a brush to help clean around the sharp plastic protrusions that shred the meat. It is not the easiest to clean around those plastic protrusions, but for how well it shreds that is a minor inconvenience in my opinion. Although, the bottom of this tool is able to go into the dishwasher which does help.Overall, I am pleased with this shredder tool and its quality so far that I would definitely recommend it. Its ease of use is exactly what one wants when prepping their meat for salads or sandwiches.

Wow. I cook a lot of chicken breasts, pork, and beef roasts that need shredding, and I really didn't expect this plastic tool to work as well as it did. It has been a huge and very welcome surprise in my kitchen.TL;DR: This shredder is a massive time-saver. It shredded a 3-4 lb pork roast in under a minute, a task that usually takes me 5-10 minutes with forks. It's easy to use (just don't overfill it), and while I dreaded hand-washing it, the included cleaning brush made it surprisingly simple.The Nitty Gritty DetailsAssembly was instant; the handles just clip right onto the transparent lid. I immediately put it to the test on a freshly cooked BBQ pulled pork roast. I put in large chunks, and with just 2-3 twists, it was coarsely shredded. 5-6 turns got it to my preferred medium shred, and after about 8 turns, it was incredibly fine. The key is to not overfill it, as the meat needs room to spread out as it shreds. The time savings are no joke. What normally takes me up to 10 minutes of tedious work with two forks was done in less than a minute.My biggest concern was cleaning it, as I don't have a dishwasher. The thought of hand-washing all those little plastic blades was not appealing. However, the kit came with a small, angled brush that is a total game-changer. It fits perfectly between the shredding points and makes getting all the little bits of meat and sauce off super easy. The plastic points are sharp enough to be poky (I wouldn't jam my hand in there), but not sharp enough to cut you.My only minor note is on drying. When I let it drip-dry, I noticed a slight film on the transparent lid. The next time, I dried it with a cloth. While it was a little annoying to get the cloth between all the plastic blades, the extra time here still isn't enough to make up for the time saved in actually shredding my food.
