Recommend starting with the Soft mode for the first week to adapt, then switching to Normal mode. Lean over the sink, keep your mouth slightly closed, and let water flow naturally through your lips without forcing them shut.
Why does the water flosser cause my gums to bleed?
Bleeding gums during initial use indicate inflammation or incorrect technique. Reduce the pressure, aim the stream vertically along the teeth edges or gaps, and move slowly. Avoid aiming directly at the gumline/periodontal pockets at a 45° angle.
Can I add mouthwash to the water tank?
It is recommended to use plain water only. Adding mouthwash, especially concentrated, is not advised. The chemicals can leave residues inside the unit that promote bacterial growth and can damage the pump, preventing it from forming a fine stream.
Why can I feel the motor running but no water comes out?
