So we live in a cold climate where we can expect snow at pretty much any point from September through May, and it can go from 96°F and sunny, to 22°F and a foot of snow by morning. With that said you have to be prepared and have lots of winter jacket options. So I have wanted to get her one of these warming jackets for a while, but I wanted one that was easy for her to use even in gloves or mittens. This jacket fits that! The jacket is very soft both inside and out, so if your kiddo has sensory problems, they’ll probably love this like my daughter does. It’s also pretty good when up against dog and cat fur, it did have some static electricity that attracted a minimal amount fur, but it was easy to brush off.It has a very simple to use power button on the upper left side of the chest of the jacket. It can be easily pressed with gloves or mittens, one long press to turn on, one short press for low, 2 for medium and 3 for high, with another long press to turn it off.The wrists are a thin trimmed elastic band. There seems to be a good bit of room for the wrists so it won’t cut into skin. The rest of the jacket has the same fabric as the trim for all the edges. The seams of the jacket seem strong and you can’t really feel any cords while it is being worn.Where it loses it a bit for me is that it doesn’t include a battery pack for the jacket. So in addition to the cost of the jacket you also have to factor in the battery pack. We briefly tried it with a small power bank we had and it worked and heated up well, but I’m not sure how much I like the idea of a battery pack that wasn’t provided to me from the manufacturer. If it came with the battery pack, I’d know that it was the correct wattage and type for the jacket. I have not found any information throughout the packaging that states what voltage is the accurate and safest one, what type of pack to buy. I did find a card with an email address to support, so I plan to reach out and will hopefully get an answer soon. The hood also doesn’t seem to have any type of pull closure to tighten up around the face. So that could be a factor in a windy climate. The zippers are strong and each pocket has a zipper closure. The main zipper got stuck on the surrounding fabric a bit on the way down, so maybe tell your kiddo to make sure it’s clear of fabric on either side before zipping up or down. It does seem a bit narrow through the body of the jacket in comparison to other size large jackets and onesies we have, but with puffer jackets they can sometimes look smaller than they are. I’d still suggest sizing up especially if you have a stocky built kiddo or a very tall one like ours!Other than that, it’s a great jacket that feels mostly kid proof! It is gender neutral and as soon as I figure out how to keep it warm the safest, it will be a permanent winter fixture in our home and will enable so much more play on snow days!

This Jacket is an excellent choice for keeping children warm and comfortable, especially during very cold weather. The material and stitching are high quality, giving it a durable and premium feel. The USB heating function works great and makes it very practical for extreme cold, ensuring your child stays cozy outdoors.Even without the heating function turned on, the jacket itself is quite warm and well-insulated, so it’s perfect for most winter days on its own. It’s also lightweight, which makes it easy for kids to wear and move around in.My wife especially loved the inside tag where you can write your child’s name and contact information — a small but thoughtful detail that makes it easy to identify the owner if the jacket is forgotten at school.Overall, this is a smart, well-designed coat that combines comfort, warmth, and practicality — exactly what you want to keep your children warm in changing temperatures.

Love this puffer jacket. To be honest, I didn't expect much, but I was pleasantly surprised. Soft and thin, perfect for chilly fall nights and cold winter mornings. This well built and designed puffer jacket is a great fit for kids. My kid rides the bus to school every morning, and these odd few chilly mornings, this has worked miracles! She's nice and cozy while it's cold outside. The Fit is true to size.Battery life depends on the level of desired warmth, and the battery pack you use. This jacket does not come with battery pack, so we opted to use the one that came with my puffer vest and it works well. I would say, don't skimp out on the battery pack, invest in a great one for your kiddos. This is great for winter, fall, kids who walk to school or ride the bus. Perfect fit and easy to use. My kid loves it. She's nice and cozy even during recess when all the kids are freezing. Best choice I've ever made.Great value for money and good quality for price. Would buy again when she outgrows the current one. Love and must have for harsh winters in N.E states!

The QXOOXQ Kids Heated Puffer Jacket does not come with a battery. I have not seen these sold like this before thus minus a star. Otherwise, it is constructed well. I like the modern design, and they keep the kiddo fairly warm on their own. There are no loose strings. The zipper is smooth. The pockets are comfy to keep hands inside of. It runs true to size. I also appreciate that the hood is removable. The value for the money is there but again; keep in mind you will need to get a separate battery if you want to use the heating option.I hope you find my review useful.

For those of us who don’t read all the fine print, I missed the part about the battery not being included. Not a big deal, though, the jacket is super comfortable even without it! Now I just need to figure out which battery to get, because this will be amazing during snowy winter days. The comfort level is what really impressed me. I had my granddaughter try it on right after a shower (I was too excited to wait ), and she loved it! My daughter also commented on how nice the jacket is. It’s soft both inside and out, and the quality feels great. The hood is removable, which is nice. It also has a stretchy edge that helps it fit a little more snugly around the face, much better than a loose-fitting hood. The sleeves have a similar elastic edge, which adds to the comfort fit.I ordered a size 7/8 for my 6-year-old granddaughter, and it fits her perfectly. The two zippered pockets on the outside are nice, and I had no trouble zipping the jacket up on her. I’m pretty sure she’ll outgrow it long before it wears out.Even without the heating feature, I think the price is fair for a jacket of this quality. I definitely recommend it!
