08-03-2026It said “due cast” so I was hopeful this would be like Hot Wheels quality but the car covering is plastic and it feels rather cheap

08-03-2026I think this is an adorable set that is going to appeal to boys and girls alike, of just about any age.They are not quite on par with the quality of a hot wheel, but what do you lack in detail, they make up for in fun when you wind them up and let them go. I did notice that one car had some slight scratching on the top, but it wasn’t bad enough to detract from the appeal of the car.The carrying case is particularly attractive because it helps keep them all safe and in one place and makes them easily portable.I like that each individual compartment opened on its own, versus just one lid. This prevents the possibility of dumping all of your cars out en mass when you move the case. The compartments close easily by a little pressure on the left and right side of the door, as opposed to pushing down in the middle.I did notice one loose screw just floating around in one of the compartments, but I checked the bottom of each and every car, and they all had their screws, so I don’t know if it was included as a possible replacement, or if it was just there by accident.My one word of caution is to not overwind the cars as you can destroy the mechanism inside.
