I ordered this wash bag largely because I have to walk out of the back of my house down to my garage to get to my washing machine, which I don't like doing when it's really hot, wet, or dark. Also, sometimes I just need to clean one item for different reasons. This bag allows me to basically handwash items without using the sink or other open tub, etc. It was perfect for soaking my soiled tennis shoes.
this product isn't as great as it seems. The bag is so bulky, it wouldn't be practical in use for travel which is why I picked it up. It's also quite heavy for what it is and doesn't fold up very compact. Tested it out on a small load of laundry and once filled with water it is even harder to handle from the water weight. It has a handle that feels like it will tear off the plastic easily, and water leaks out the top even though it was supposed to be sealed. It's just a glorified dry bag but with a mesh baggie insert that doesn't do much to help agitate the clothing inside. There are other solutions that may work better but this wasn't the best designed.
This portable wash bag is absolutely genius! It solves a very real problem for anyone traveling a lot, camping, or staying somewhere without easy access to a washer. It’s perfect for those moments when you just need to clean a few pieces—like your last pair of socks or a shirt with a fresh stain you don’t want to set. It’s surprisingly effective, easy to use, and super compact. I just toss in a Tide Evo square, give it a quick wash, and everything comes out fresh and clean. A must-have for road trips, apartments, or any travel setup!
The Treklean Store Wash Bag Travel Washing Machine is a pretty neat gadget, perfect for travel. I tried it this evening on a pair of work jeans. While packing for six days away—three for work travel and three visiting my daughter and grandkids—I initially set out three pairs of jeans but only packed one.The other two should still be waiting on my bed when I get back home. On my last night on the road, after re-wearing the same jeans for two days, I pulled out the Treklean Portable Clothes Washing Bag to clean my dirt-caked jeans from crawling around some filthy, dirty roofs. The portable washer is small, compact, and easy to pack in a suitcase, travel bag, or carry-on sized luggage. The bag is well-made with durable construction and is sturdy enough to hold water effectively, even with its fold-over top opening. My first time using it involved some guesswork, as the instructions are just thumbnail pictures with no explanations or text for guidance. I just added water and a Tide Pod to wash and clean my jeans. With the task accomplished and the jeans now hanging to dry, I realized I could have just used the guest laundry at the hotel. However, it was fun to see how the washing bag works. I think it's a great concept—though a bit pricey, it's still worth it.I plan to keep packing this washing bag as a backup option. It's a good alternative to using the tub or hotel bathroom sink. It's really simple to use and much more convenient than the other options. It effectively removed the dirt and grime from my jeans and allowed me to agitate them without getting unnecessarily wet or soapy.I think this would be a great gift for someone who travels or an outdoor enthusiast-adventurer.
During summer, I do a lot of multiple day backpacking hikes with my dog. I try to pack as light as I can for the amount of time we’ll be out. I pack all the waterproof and warm clothes I’d need just in case, but mainly it’s just shirt, shorts, underwear, and socks I sweat and get dirty during the hiking and camping.I got this Treklean travel wash bag because I thought it might work well refreshing my hiking clothes on these longer hikes. The bag is ultra light, very thin, but sturdy, dry sack with a clear window front, and a good drain plug. The quality is very good, specialized for washing clothes, and more than just another basic dry bag. It folds and packs into the size of a shirt, making it easy to keep with the clothes I pack.I tested it just like I would if I was on trail and found water. I added some water, a dash of biodegrade detergent, and a set of clothes I had (3)days of hiking in(yes, they needed the sweat and gross washed out!). I rolled and clipped it closed, and shook it around. After a bit of agitating the bag, I drained(super gross!), dirty water using the convenient drain plug.I added some clean water and repeated. I then drained all the water out and rolled up the bag, with the clothes still in and sealed it. It was then compact, dry on the outside, and easily fit back in my pack and ready to hang dry when stopped to camp.I then tidily removed, and hung dry the clothes I washed. Several hours later, I had clean and fresh clothes ready for another few days on the trail. Pretty nice to do when sweating on trail all day.It is a specialty piece of kit for my gear, but overall, it does what it is designed for and will be an enhancement to the (6)day excursion I leave for this month. 5 stars
The folks that created this travel clothes washing bag are brilliant for filling a very specific need. Individuals and families car camping or on holiday need a convenient way to wash a few articles of clothing when a laundromat isn't available or a full load of clothes aren't ready to wash. If you're down to the last pair of socks or a shirt that got a stain that should be washed to keep it from setting in, this bag is ideal. Carry a few Tide Evo detergent squares with you and you're set.
