A few seemed like duplicate sizes and I thought it was going to be more varied, but that's fine because they are the ones I like to use for eye shadows and I do like to use a fresh brush for each color.I did get a few stray bristles after use, not an indication of quality to me when they are falling out on my first use. Makes me see them as more of a short lived product.On my second day of use, I didn't get any strays, so perhaps that was just an isolated incident. But then, I washed them and a few were in the sink after rinsing. Perhaps washing will have removed all the loose ones. I will have to give it some time and see if they continue to lose hairs.

08-03-2026If you are looking for a whole set of brushes to cover a variety of makeup needs, this is a very good set. There are a variety of sizes and shapes that can apply foundation, eye shadow, use for contours, etc. The bristles are soft and comfortable and the handles are sturdy and feel nice in my hand. I am on the fence about double sided brushes. I like the convenience of not having to have a separate brush, but it does make them more annoying to store as one end has to sit on the bottom in my brush holder, which can mess up the edges and leave makeup in the bottom of my brush holder. However, as I'm not super fussy about makeup brushes, the convenience of getting a set that can do everything I need at a decent price outweighs the double sided brush issue. The large powder brush is my most used brush and great for applying a finishing powder on top. Overall, this is a solid set for a beginner or someone looking to a full set of brushes.

08-03-2026Used these recently and was happy with how they performed and applied my makeup. Unfortunately did experience some shedding and loose bristles on my face. They are affordable though, so it wasn't exactly surprising, but still a bit disappointing. Aside from that though, they are very soft and do well with blending out makeup. They look really aesthetically pleasing. I thought they might be travel size before receiving them, but they are full size and a great set.
