I've had other ratchet belts that claimed to be leather that was anything but real leather. This is real GOOD leather and is light but strong and looks amazing with jeans or dress pants. I love it so much I bought more in different colors and will recommend to my family members
This is one of my first ratchet belts I've ever owned. The leather is thick and heavy and the belt components are all made of metal. The belt came needing some assembly. Had to cut about 6 inches off the belt to make it work for me. There weren't good instructions on how much to cut so I recommend cutting off less first and checking the fit. Once trimmed to your liking, you then attach the belt buckle to the leather strap. It has a clip with teeth that grip the belt when closed. Wrap it around your waist, insert the end in the buckle and pull until your desired tightness around your waist. The ratchet is fairly easy to use. Once inserted just pull the belt to tighten, you can hear it click on each ratchet. To loosen the belt, there is a small lever on the bottom of the buckle you push in as you pull the belt from your waist. The ratchet holds the belt in place for a good fit, and is easy enough to remove or loosen when needed. Noticed no issues with wearing the belt all day, it felt very comfortable around my waist and I didn't feel the need to adjust it throughout the day.My only complaints about this belt is the ratchet teeth, and the clip to release the belt. The ratchet teeth appear to be made of plastic and I wonder if they will wear out over time since the ratchet and the belt buckle are made of metal. The clip to release the belt is small and sometimes I have to search for it when removing the belt. The instructions that came with the belt mention a model where the ratchet is released by pulling on the buckle. I think that would be a better mechanism for release.I'm fairly certain I will get plenty of use out of this belt and if I notice any issues with the functionality or durability of the belt, I will update this review.
En las reseñas decía que era de cuero, y no es de cuero, es cuero sintético, y es de china. Me estafaron
I prefer ratchet-style belts but have been disappointed by many I’ve had because they weren’t real leather. This belt is the real deal with real, thick leather. I love it!
Good
Super sturdy.
Real solid leather. Clasp that holds cut side of belt, locks in firmly unlike cheep copy's. Ratchet worked great belt looks feels and smells good. Real solid leather I bought a cheep one before and it would tear out every week or so. You have to cut off 1/2" and reinstall it eventually belt is too short
Nice Looking Belt and Buckle
