What you get:A bag of 15 mixed color 5" soft plastic stick baits.Thoughts:The soft plastic itself is fine, similar enough to most known brands. These definitely have a strong scent impregnated in them, the jury is out as to how much of a difference that will make. The colors are nice, especially the two tone gradient. Lots of flashy glitter too which in the right light conditions and the right water clarity make a big difference. At the price of just less than $10 the value is okay, but not amazing. My typical known brands don't cost much more than that on a per bait basis and I already have a lot of confidence in them. Overall a good buy for someone who is just getting into Bass fishing and wants a variety of stick baits to work out what fish will bite in a variety of conditions.
Nicely made lures. The scent infusion is not just marketing hope, you notice it as soon as you open the bag. I consider this to be a good thing as it will certainly make them more attractive to fish.At their price point, these are also a good value. Definitely worth adding to your tackle box.
I picked up these Senko worms for bass fishing and they work as expected. The plastic feels solid, the salt scent holds up, and the price makes it easy to keep a few packs in the tackle box. I’ve used them in both ponds and lakes with steady results. Nothing fancy, but a reliable bait at a good price.
I was really impressed with these Senko worms right out of the package. The soft plastic feels high-quality, and the salt and scent infusion make a huge difference—bass hold onto them longer, giving me more time to set the hook. I’ve tried them both wacky rigged and Texas rigged, and they have a natural fall and wiggle that gets strikes quickly. The pack comes with plenty of worms (15 pcs), which is a great value compared to other brands. They hold up well after multiple catches, but are still soft enough to look and feel realistic in the water. I’ve caught largemouth and even a couple smallmouth on these, both in freshwater and brackish water, so they’re versatile too.If you’re looking for reliable, effective, and affordable Senko-style worms, this kit is a must-have in your tackle box. Highly recommend!
I love fishing, getting out 2-3 times a week, focusing mainly on bass and catfish. Worms like this are my preferred lure for bass because they work in just about any situation, once you're using the right color. The multi-color 12-pack is great for figuring out which color works in your particular pond's water. I've found the dark green ones work well in murky water of small bass lakes here in Texas. If that doesn't get any hits after 15 minutes, I'll switch to the bright orange one. These are fairly soft andfd only good for landing 2-3 big fish before they get torn up, but that's the case with most lures like this. The infused smell is STRONG, which seems to help attack fish but may work against your social life. Consider wearing plastic gloves when handling these, or else your hands will catch the scent. Being 5" long, these are for places with larger fish. I'm guessing small mouth bass might have trouble with them but the large mouth bass I'm after like them. 12 worms for under $10 is a great deal!
Introduced to this type of bait by my oldest who is a pro bass fisher here in Michigan. Used extensively and these are as good as any I have used. Multiple color combinations/choices provide you choices for various water clarity and weather conditions. Worms are very flexible and colors are solid and vivid. The worms will hold up to hooks and repeated fish strikes. Handy pack to have on hand for next fishing trip.
These worms are just as advertised. They are heavily salted and they stink. Now this might be great for attracting fish but it does a great job of repelling human beings. When I opened the package I was hit with that day after you BBQ shrimp smell when you go to throw something away and remember that there are shrimp cells in the trash. I put on gloves to keep my hands from stinking, added a few squirts of dish soap into the bag and wash them really well in warm water. Then I put them in a dish that I was going to be throwing away at set them on my porch. They have been out there most of the day and they still really smell bad.I don't know whether the smell attracts fish or not but I know that I would not want these in my car or my house for any length of time. I suspect if you got this odor on your hands you would be sometimes getting rid of it. The Bates themselves are great, the colors could look good and they have pretty good action under the water but the smell...
Awesome quality and work great like always. These worms are the ones I've always had the best luck with in the past and these ones are no exception. It's nice that I could get multiple colors, because in stores you usually can only find packs of one color, plus these are cheaper than in the stores. Definitely worth a try.
