This is such a beautiful, great quality bag. I've owned countless pairs of Sam Edelman shoes over the last two decades. This is my first purse by the brand. I absolutely love it! I use it anytime I need to downsize my everyday purse into a smaller, lighter one. Highly recommend!

Up until now, I've been partial to saffiano leather purses, and particularly purses made by another designer (starts with a K and ends with ate Spade)... but this purse has opened my eyes to the possibilities of Sam Edelman!!!The leather is luxuriously soft. I think that I was imagining it a little larger than it is in real life, but the size is great for me because I like purses that are large enough to carry what I need but small enough to not remind me of the enormous purse my mom carried when I was a kid (it was like luggage!) The inside has beige/tan lining with one zippered pocket and two open pockets that are each wide enough to fit a 12-oz soda can (just barely, and of course I wouldn't use this gorgeous handbag as a cup holder, but that tells you the size of the pockets). The top is zippered AND has a magnet closure that is sewn behind the leather - even if you don't take the time to zip the purse, the magnet will keep it closed. There is a detachable shoulder strap that can be adjusted for length - it is easily long enough to work as a crossbody.I will admit that I'm not sure about the function of the drawstring... it seems to be cosmetic more than anything. The zipper that closes the top of the purse is stiff enough that the drawstring can't really tighten the top further. Some of my other purses have an outer side pocket and when I glance and see the drawstring I tend to mistake it for a slip pocket - until I try to put a piece of paper in it and realize that it's all slip, no pocket. I'll get used to it though because I can see myself using this purse all the time.The bottom line is that this bag is incredible and I'm VERY likely to check for other colors. Just because I got this one for free doesn't mean that I'm not willing to pay out of pocket for another one.

This handbag is lovely. The ivory color looks elegant and pairs well with just about any outfit. The drawstring design gives it a stylish, modern touch while still feeling classic. It’s the perfect size for carrying essentials without being bulky, and the materials feel soft yet durable. The stitching and details are well done, showing great quality all around. A beautiful, versatile bag that I’d definitely recommend.

This purse is on the smaller church handbag size, it's plenty big enough to fit a cell phone some grooming supplies and a wallet but not large enough to fit an iPad. I found that the organization pockets had exactly what I needed but the thinness of the material and especially the thinness of the straps means that this won't be my everyday go to bag The leather is very soft, and I really like the olive green color for fall.

THIS HANDBAG IS CUTE, IT DOESNT FIT A BUNCH OF STUFF SINCE I LIKE TO CARRY MY HOUSE IN MY BAGS, PERFECT FOR AN EVENING OUT FOR DINNER OR A GIRLS NIGHT OUT. IT HAS A LONG CROSSBODY STRAP. I LIKE THAT IT HAS THE PULL STRAPS ON THE SIDES TO SYNCH IN THE BAG. ITS MADE OF GREAT QUALITY, YOU CAN TELL BY HOW SOFT AND SUPPLE IT FEELS.

I’m used to Mary Poppins-style bags, so this one feels a bit smaller, but it still holds all the essentials like a phone, wallet, and a few extras. Measuring 11 x 5 x 11 inches. The buttery-soft fabric lends it a luxurious feel, and its versatile design makes it a great choice. Inside, it’s lined and has one zippered pocket and two open compartments for easy organization. The hardware feels solid and durable, built to withstand daily use. I also appreciate the dual closure options—zipper or magnet—and the choice between a top handle or adjustable shoulder strap for carrying. My only minor gripe is the SE logo, which is made from the same material as the bag and comes off a bit cheap.
