This push up board is helping me and my husband to step up our fitness routine. It sets up easy, and I applied the little non-slip stickers to the bottom of the board. Even though the instructions only called for ten of them for stability, I used them all. There were four left over that I am saving to replace any that might fall off in the future. The system is color coded and shows the different push up exercises and which various muscles and areas are targeted. The instruction page included gives more detailed information on this and a sample 10 week training plan.I am taking it slow and cannot do all the exercises yet, my husband is enjoying it and having fun with all the different configurations/exercises. What we both really like is the small space it takes up and the portability of it. It’s a great addition to our home gym, effective and simple to use.
I'm always trying to find a convenient way to get a good workout in at home. I was a little skeptical that a simple board could really do much, but I was so wrong. I was surprised at first that it was lighter weight than I expected, but it's incredibly sturdy once you start using it. This thing is cool. It's a game changer. The first time I used it, it definitely showed me exactly where I'm weak at which was almost every position. The different color-coded positions are so helpful because they show you exactly where to place your hands to target a specific muscle group, like my chest, back, and shoulders. The workout is so effective and it feels like a full-body workout. It's so much more than just doing a regular push-up, and it's a great way to challenge myself.Beyond using it for a push-up workout, I've found a couple of great unconventional uses for this board. I've used the handles for a deep chest and shoulder stretch, which is a great way to cool down after a workout. I've also used it as a fun "toy" for my toddler. I'll let them try to do a "push-up" with me in a safe and fun way, and they absolutely love it.Overall, this push-up board is fantastic. It's portable, effective, and it's completely changed my workout routine. It's a great tool for a home gym, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get a serious workout in. It's a solid 5 stars.
This push-up assistant gets the job done. I love that it is so easy to figure out which type of push-ups work which type of upper body parts. So if you already have biceps and you just need to work on your triceps it's very easy to figure out where you need to place the handles to specifically target those results. The colors laid out on the face of the board are that easy to follow. The handles can be a little stiff and hard to pull out at times. So I don't know that I would recommend this to a lot of females. As a fairly muscular man it takes me quite a bit of force to remove the handles and places them in different slots when I'm trying to put the handles in a new position. The construction on this push up board is fairly decent but I'm not necessarily impressed with it. The plastic is slightly on the thin side but it's thick enough that I'm not worried about it breaking in the near future from too much use. In the distant future I would worry about it folding under too much stress. Hopefully, my pics can convey the thickness of the materials. The blue part of the handles are fairly comfy. So for short bursts you don't get sore at all. If you planned on using these for long periods of time, you may want to consider pricier push-up in boards. At the current cost, I can definitely recommend this as a tool for getting more reps out of your pushups. This may not have been built with women in mind since the handles are so snug once they're in place, but as an affordable push up assistant I would most definitely recommend these to guys on a budget that want to target different parts of their upper body. I believe the results you're likely to get from using this are well worth the cost.
Flimsy. The hand grips pop out of the holes and can twist your wrist.
Getting this push-up board ready for a workout was incredibly simple. It's a portable and dismountable piece of equipment, and it was very easy to put together right out of the box. You can get started with your home gym routine almost immediately. My only real issue is with removing the handles once they are in place. While they feel secure during a workout, pulling them out to switch to a different position is a bit of a struggle. I wish they were easier to adjust on the fly to keep the workout flowing. It's also important to keep in mind that the board and handles are all made of plastic. It feels sturdy enough for its purpose, but it is a plastic construction. Overall, despite the stiff handles, it's a nice product for adding variety to at-home muscle training.
I need something to keep me motivated to exercise, and this board does the job. The color-coded positions help target different muscles, and the legend on the board makes it easy to plan which muscle group to work on each day.Setup is simple, just snap the two pieces together and place the handles where you want them. Compared to doing push-ups on the ground, this feels way better. The raised grip puts my wrists in a natural position, so I can do more reps without hand pain. The handles could use more padding though, especially for longer sessions. I plan to wrap it. I also wish it had wheels to add balance training and ab workouts, but that’s something I could DIY.The build is plain plastic and not the most refined. There are molding marks and extras here and there. Still, for $17, it’s a solid value and a helpful tool for better form and consistency.
