So, i'm really impressed with this Jacket. This has a nice soft, fluffy interior lining that will keep you warm. This has an outer shell that is waterproof. Well, i wouldn't jump in a pool with this on, but it will keep the rain off of you. The inside of the arms has the slick lining so that your long sleeves will slide right on in without the sleeve riding up your arm.It has a chest pocket with a water liner over the zipper to make it more waterproof. The main pockets are at an angle with the same zipper like the chest zipper, and they have a flap over the pockets to help keep water out of the pockets. The fit: We ordered the 13-14. We have a 10 year old and this fits great. just slightly large, but give it about 2 weeks and he'll grow into it.For the type of jacket this is, it's not all that heavy, maybe 2 lbs.I'm really impressed with the quality of this jacket and it's definitely worth the money.Would i recommend this? Absolutely. My kid loves this jacket.
This jacket fits true to size. My son really likes it. The zippers are smooth and don't catch. I've not seen any sewing or stitching issues on it. My son says it's very comfortable and it definitely is doing its job of keeping him warm. It's put together well and the nice dark charcoal grey color looks good. It's a nice coat and I'm happy with it for sure.
This jacket is perfect for winter! It keeps my kid warm and dry, even in snow and rain. The removable hood is convenient, and the fit is true to size. I also love the little velcro part in the face that helps keep your face warm when wearing the hood. Great quality and durable, my kid loves it!ProsVelcro and zipper closures for extra protectionLots of pocketsRemovable hood for layeringFleece lined and waterproofConsI ordered a size up for layering and I would definitely say stick to their true size as it’s already a bit large
My granddaughter is 5 She is skinny-. I got her a 6 -well-made -my granddaughter says it’s warm- have not wash it yet.. it has not rained or snowed. Overall good jacket for the price.
The Kids Waterproof Ski Jacket with Detachable Hood is absolutely fantastic! It keeps my child warm, dry, and comfortable no matter the weather — from snowy ski days to cold walks to school. The waterproof material really holds up, and the insulation is thick and cozy without being bulky.I love the detachable hood, which makes it super versatile for different conditions, and the zippers, pockets, and seams are all high quality and durable. The fit is true to size, with enough room for layering underneath.Overall, this jacket is well-designed, practical, and stylish — the perfect combination for active kids who love the outdoors. It’s built to last and worth every penny!
This jacket fit my 5 year old grandson perfectly. The interior is super soft. The zippers work fine with no catching. The hood is form fitting to keep out the cold. The outer shell is waterproof and is heavy enough to at least cut back on wind. The sleeves have elastic to help keep wind from going in the arms. This is a great jacket to keep our little guy warm. It doesn’t restrict his movements either.
Got this for my 11-year-old and honestly, I'm impressed. Ordered the 11-12 size in black and it fits him perfectly - not too tight, not swimming in it either. There's enough room to throw a hoodie underneath without him looking like a marshmallow. The jacket feels really well made. The outer material has this nice sturdy feel to it, and when I tested it with some water from the hose (yeah, I'm that parent), it just rolled right off. The fleece lining inside is soft and feels warm, though obviously we won't know for sure until we hit the slopes this winter. What I really like are the little details - the cuffs have these thumb holes that should help keep snow out of his sleeves, and the hood actually stays put when he moves around. My only real complaint is that it shows every bit of dirt. He wore it outside for like 10 minutes the other day and somehow got smudges on it already. Not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind if you have a kid who's a dirt magnet like mine. The price made me wince a little when I ordered it, but looking at how it's put together, I think it'll last more than one season. Plus if it keeps him warm and dry so we can actually enjoy our ski trips instead of dealing with a cold, miserable kid, it's worth every penny.Would definitely recommend if you're looking for something that seems like it can handle whatever winter throws at it.
I was looking for a good winter coat for my little guy that wasn't going to break the bank. I wanted one that was versatile enough for him to wear it to school on cold days, and also wear it when we go to the snow. This will do just fine for both! The material on this coat is really nice. It says "waterproof" and they mean it. How do I know? Well....We decided to have fun and experiment so we put it on him and let his sister spray him with the hose (for fun, its still in the 90s where we live right now so it was fun).I am happy to report that the portion of him covered by this coat remained dry. The rest of him after sister got done with her water cannoning, not so much.I have no doubt that this will hold up just fine in Tahoe winters. I believe based upon the feel of the material that it will last for years, so you can pass it down to younger kids when yours grows out of it.Speaking of size, my boy usually wears an 8 and I normally size up so he can have room to grow but I wanted to order an 8 so we could see if it runs true to size. It does, he actually has a bit of extra room, but not so much that a size 7 would be flopping around in it. I believe that if I had sized up, it would have also been fine.I think this jacket is a great deal.
