These are a stunning diamond solitaire studs that look even better in person. The solitaire stones are confirmed to be diamond with a basic tester. The stones have a bright sparkle and are finely set into the sturdy setting. The studs are lightweight and comfortable to wear, and they come with an IGI card, a necklace box, and a larger gift box. Overall, great value!
Lab-grown diamonds are worry-free and affordable. The stones are identically the same as mined diamonds in terms of the amount of carbon used to make them. They look the same and only a jeweler can tell the difference using special instruments that will detect different growth patterns but without the equipment, they can't tell either. They sparkle identically and measure at the same hardness on the Mohs scale. I saw the movie Blood Diamond and it makes me feel relieved to wear jewelry that was not involved in a conflict. The downside is that lab diamonds don't have the same resale value as natural ones. Once you spend the money on them, it's gone. Regular diamonds usually retain about 50 percent of their value. So you won't feel as big of a loss if you lose a lab diamond. Buyers have to ask themselves if they want to wear jewelry for the experience or if they are looking at it as an investment. Most people would say gold would be a better thing to buy if you are thinking about reselling down the line. The two half-carat studs have enough sparkle for me and the backs of the earrings screw into the posts; you don't push them down. The earrings come with an information card from the International Gemological Institute describing the earrings and their origins. I went to their website and it was very informative and the card is good to have because so many people don't understand what lab diamonds are. The earrings are a nice introduction to these kinds of stones and they look good in my ears.
I ordered 0.5 carat total weight stud earrings from Belacqua. They are not only beautiful, but they are real. They come with an IGI certification which can be verified on IGI's website, I also took it a step farther and used my thermal conductivity diamond tester for extra peace of mind (see picture). It's important to note that both diamonds and moissanite have the same thermal conductivity, but considering it can be verified on IGI's web site AND it has the correct thermal conductivity everything looks above board. As far as the studs are concerned, they are beautiful! They are secure with screw backs so you won't need to worry about them falling off and getting lost. I will also note that I have several pieces of jewelery from Belacqua, everything from pearls to diamonds and I have yet to find a fake. This seems to be an affordable, trustworthy company.
These are a nice size. Appear to be a good quality as I have had them in over night and have not made my ears hurt.
Nice but screw back came off and lost one. I didn’t think I was at risk for loosing a screw back and earring so easily. Buyer beware.
These Belacqua 14K lab-grown diamond studs are gorgeous! The 0.5 ct total weight stones sparkle beautifully and look just like natural diamonds, perfect for everyday wear or special occasions. I love that they come with IGI certification and screw-back posts, so I don’t worry about them slipping off. They’re lightweight, comfortable, and hypoallergenic, making them easy to wear all day. Plus, knowing they’re ethically created adds peace of mind. A classy, sustainable choice for anyone wanting beautiful diamond earrings without the hefty price tag.
