This review is for the FishTrip baitholder worm hooks in size #1. The hooks are nice and sharp and well made. The baitholders are all secure and do a good job of keeping soft plastic baits from sliding down the hook shank.
These worm hooks are sharp and built tough with carbon steel, making them perfect for both freshwater and saltwater fishing. The dual barbs hold bait securely in place, preventing slippage. They stay strong under pressure and maintain their edge well.
Unlike some hooks at this price point, these hooks will not require sharpening before use. I recommend these hooks given the price point, when you need straight shank hooks.
These are solid fish hooks. They are plenty sharp. The shank is straight and appears to be appropriately strong. The bait-keeper barb is placed well and large enough to do the job.All in all, I have no complaints.
These are excellent hooks, perfect for using with artificial worms or lures in that shape. They are very strong and sharp, and the closed eyes will work great with loop knots.. I am trying to use them with large 5" paddle tails which is more difficult. You can see them in my photo that when installed they are perfect. Getting them in is a challenge that I will figure out.
These hooks have been super helpful at keeping my bait from slinging off during windy casts. They're durable, sharp, and easy to rig up. Overall I'd definitely repurchase once I run out. With that being said, I have to rate them a 5.
These hooks work great when using either live worms or the soft baits. They have the hook to attach and hold the soft worms and lures so they move like they're alive. It holds them well so they don't fall off when casting and it's not easy for a fish to grab and snatch it off without taking the hook. The hooks themselves are strong and sharp. Very nice quality and the package comes with a good quantity of hooks. They're available in different sizes so you can pick the one you need. I ordered the #5 because we catch a lot of big fish. These hold the bait so well that my fishermen don't want anything else when using live worms or soft baits.
Great size for bass fishing, and you get a lot for you dollar here. They’re sharp and strong, and I plan to use for some creature baits and crawdads.
