08-03-2026The sidewalks will be icy soon enough here on the Northern Plains, and I'm looking forward to using these Sfee Crampons Ice Cleats for all my outdoor walks.I wear a women's size 9.5 shoe in athletic shoes where I have room for heavy socks. I ordered a pair of these cleats in size Large and they fit on my running shoes perfectly. I am sure they will stretch to fit my bigger insulated winter boots and shoes.I've seen a few different types of these ice grip shoe attachments. I wasn't thrilled with any of the kinds I've seen before. This Sfee pair seems much better than the other ones I've seen.Ice cleats like these could be a true life saver on the treacherous deep winter sidewalks here. I do worry about falling and I often don't go out because of the risk. I've needed something like these and this brand seems to be particularly good.I can't give a complete review since it's still October and luckily we haven't been hammered with winter quite yet. It's coming soon enough and when it does, I'll be very happy that I have these spiked crampons for my winter boots.

08-03-2026Ok pair of ice cleats (I guess). I haven't had any ice to try them on fit this review.With that said, I ordered the XL size for my size 12 shoes. They stretch to fit my shoes without issue. The Velcro straps are a nice addition to keep the cleats on your footwear. I just wish the straps were somehow attached to the cleats to prevent loss. You can wrap them around the cleats to keep them together, but an attachments would have been nice.I like that there are 28 cleats per foot, but the arrangement of this cleats leaves me wanting. With my chain-style ice cleats, the cleats are arranged bit centered under the foot, but also towards the edges of the shoes. This gives you great stability. These rubber-type cleats have the metal cleats more centered. When attached to my shoes I find them to be a bit too centered, making my feet wobble side to side. Probably not too good for your ankles. I worry about rolling my ankles with these. They just aren't as stable as cleats that have metal further outboard.Will they work? Most likely! Will they be stable? Possibly, but not as stable as other types that have cleats sitting further apart.

08-03-2026This review is for Sfee Crampons Ice Cleats for Shoes and Boots. These things are awesome. I live in Minnesota and you just never know what the weather has in store for us. I am satisfied now that I am ready!These cleats are super easy to use. They actually surround your foot a bit, especially at the toe. Then there are velcro strips you can run through your choice of slots on the cleats - wherever it fits best for your feet and the shoes you are wearing - for extra strength.There are rubber grips on the bottom, as well as the metal cleats, so as you move from ice to water, they will grip no matter what. The cleats are actually built into the rubber, not just attached, for extra durability. The spikes go different directions to really help you clamp in to fight the ice to prevent falls.Also, as a nice touch, the cleats come with a waterproof bag to store these in when not in use. I really like this so I can keep sand and moisture off of other items. It would have been even better if there was a loop to hang it by, but that would have just been a cherry on top. Made in China.Bottom line, excellent cleats - better than others I have. I recommend these.

08-03-2026Winter, that annual, frozen betrayal, is lurking just around the corner, ready to turn every innocent sidewalk into a death trap disguised as a slip-and-slide. And since my sense of balance is roughly on par with a newborn giraffe on roller skates, I needed something to keep my perpetually clumsy self from becoming a human-shaped ice sculpture.Enter these metallic marvels of ice cleatery. They arrived, looking all menacing and spikey, like the footwear equivalent of a medieval torture device. But the robust, cold-resistant silicone, hugs my size 13 hiking/hunting boots with an almost sensual grip. It's like a tiny, rubbery boa constrictor for your footwear, but with more grippiness and less suffocation. At first I thought they'd be a little too short for my gigantulous overseas steam-ships that we call feet, but being tight on the boot means more grip. That was immediately noticeable from my initial testing. The more I think about it, the sizing is really ingenious here. If they were stretchier, the base pads would bend instead of the steel spikes gripping.I won't get to use them for real until it actually starts snowing in a month and change, but they look like they'll work incredibly well for the regular trudges to the other units in our snowboarding group, or the stroll back from the bars when there's no ride-share available and the shuttle says they can't pick us up for another hour.If you're into hunting, these are passable for light mud or moist ground, maybe even rocky creeks. But for heavy mud, and bog crossing, you'll probably want something with longer studs. And if you wear highwaters, you're probably going to need to size up a lot. I'm not dinging them for heavy mud as they never said anything about mud at all.
