08-03-2026Nice thinner boys puffer jacket which is great for easy movement. We live in the mid-atlantic states and it's good for all but the coldest of days. I ordered it for my tall four year old but I'm afraid the size 8 is a little too long in the sleeves for him, but it will fit him fine before I know it. For reference, he's 44" and 43lbs.

I got it for my larger than average 7.5 year old son.He typically wears 10/12 boys or 12/14.. but I went 12/14 here because it’s a jacket and I wanted it to fit a hoodie or whatever we need, underneath it.This works perfectly for that! So I would say it’s true to size because a 12/14 should be just a little big for our son and it was.I’m always happy with a black puffer jacket— this one is cute, the shade of black is nice and not that shiny black puffer jacket loot— I prefer a more matte black appearance for winter jackets, this is that.It is thick enough to keep you warm but it gets -30 and less where I live in the winter so this jacket would work for probably 40° and above to keep kids warm in the USA fall weather for New England but I wouldn’t call it a winter jacket. The inside does not have a fleece lining, it looks exactly like the outside- I’ve included a photo showing it, and this is also why I sized up a little to allow us for fleece hoodies or whatever.I do like that it has almost a half turtleneck neck line, I do wish it had a hood, but that’s what the hoodie is for also :)It has 3 pockets that all zip- awesome with kids, one on the chest and one on either sides of the belly.It matches w everything basically and I wouldn’t call recommend.
