The powder is easy to pour over the kibbles, packaged into portioned sizes. My cats don't mind the flavor and gulp down their food as if nothing changed, which, as everyone who has cats knows, isn't always the case. Royal consumers. The product has potential, and I wish it might work, so it earns stars for that. I would've added some stars if the product details included verified clinical studies, but I couldn't find any. However, the reason for decreasing the stars to just two is that the powder contains Maltodextrin, listed as the number one ingredient. As far as I understand, Maltodextrin is essentially a starch or sugar derived from rice or other carbohydrates, which means it may affect both teeth and the gut. Why is sugar in something supposed to be cleaning the teeth? I am confused by this contradiction. The idea is correct; probiotics, as most people are aware, play a crucial role in improving the gut, which in turn affects the teeth, as they depend on the digestive environment. I just would like to know the reason for using Maltodextrin. Obviously, I don't have a way to test the remaining ingredients, even if I'd like to, because I am a curious monkey, lol.

My indoor cat is not interested in these but my outdoor cat will eat anything you give him. I tend to mix one into his dinner or breakfast. I like to mix it altogether so the powder is fully incorporated in each bite. I haven’t noticed much of a difference in the whiteness, he’s a young cat so his teeth are still very clean but sometimes I notice less of a cat breath smell. I’m all about preventative care so if these are helping to stop build up or bacteria then I’m all about it.

The ProBesties Dental Powder for Cats is easy to use, and it works great. There's no measuring required, just one small packet per day added to my kitty's food. It's portable/travel-friendly too. This powder promotes an overall healthy mouth by cleaning teeth, gums, reducing plaque, tartar, and freshening breath. My kitty is an extremely picky/finicky eater, so she won't touch this when it's sprinkled on her dry food, but she will eat it when it's mixed in with one of her favorite wet foods, or treats. She absolutely hates having her teeth brushed, it's a battle I lose (lol), so I'm always looking for products that can help keep her teeth, and gums, healthy, without the need for brushing. Overall, I think this is healthy, and made with high quality ingredients. I'd recommend it.

I have an elderly cat with bad teeth. Due to her heart disease, her cardiologist advises us not to use anesthesia which means she cannot have deep tooth cleaning or surgery. I try to clean her teeth but hate to stress her too much too often. I tried some other powders with kelp which is supposed to remove tartar over time. She hated it. She refused to eat the serving suggested. I got this because I felt it might be easier to coax ingestion. So far so good. She gets the Delectables bisque 2x a day with other supplements and I added a partial packet into her portion to see how she'd react. She ate her bisque without issue. I am working up to a half packet in each of her daily supplemental bowls. The taste must be palatable enough because she has not yet snubbed it. I want to point out that for some weird reason when I add any of this probiotic to her bisque, it turns watery. The normal consistency is a thick creamy gravy but it becomes very watery and thin after adding this in. I do not know why. This causes the bisque (which is not super pureed) to become a bit grainy which she doesn't necessarily prefer. She has been eating it but I may not be able to give her a full packet a day because he only gets one small  Bisque pouch every day which I split into an AM and PM feeding. That said, it otherwise seems fine. I can add it into my second cat's canned food and he doesn't even notice. So, overall, I think most cats who aren't picky or textured minded will eat this without problems. Other felines who are finicky might refuse it. I did not try to sprinkle this onto dry food as my senior only eats tiny portions multiple times a day instead of fewer larger meals. I can't speak to how well it might work that way.I don't expect this to repair teeth and probably won't make any large difference in tartar but I am hopeful it will help in some way by improving the oral environment, help with bad breath and aid in the gut flora.

Easy to sprinkle on cat food and doesn’t seem to affect taste. Helps freshen breath and supports oral health. Convenient if you want a low-effort dental care option for your cats.

This dental powder does indeed seem to help with tooth cleanliness in our cat, and he doesn't seem to notice when it's been spread over his food. We feed him a wet diet, and if he objected to the taste, we'd know. It doesn't seem to affect his energy levels or his naptimes, either. It takes a while for the effects to show — this isn't a toothbrush, after all — and the effects themselves are subtle, but there is some change in his tooth appearance.

This dental powder has been a great addition to my cats’ routine. It mixes easily with wet food, and they don’t seem to notice it at all. Their breath smells fresher, and I feel good knowing it’s helping their oral health. It’s nice to find a natural supplement that’s easy to use. The container will last quite a while too.

Our cat has bad teeth probably due to being FIV+; it is a struggle to keep his teeth healthy, so always looking for ways to help. He is not-picky when it comes to food, so he had no problem accepting this topper. However, after realizing maltodextrin is an ingredient, I will try to find alternatives.
