This washer has a clever design, where it can be folded into pretty compact shape. It is pretty small so suitable for only few smaller items, such as underwear and socks. It looks and works like a toy, and I think it would make a great toy for kids to teach them how to do laundry. But it can also work as a portable, travel washing machine. Perhaps camping as well, although it has a regular power supply so would need a power inverter to operate. The provided water intake hose is useless as the connector is too small to fit over a regular faucet.Another thing to note is that the water level should not be above the narrower portion of the rubber body, otherwise the water will start dripping from the top rim. The instructions are very sparse, just one page of images with descriptions. It does not say, for example, what the water level should be.The agitator has a shape of round plastic basket and takes up a significant amount of space. Assuming that the laundry should be placed around it, that leaves less space for it than the size of the washer would indicate. The washer does not have a spin cycle. I tried putting the laundry into the agitator basket during the drain cycle, and it actually helped a bit, but I am not sure if that is the right thing to do as it may strain the motor and reduce its life.Overall, this thing costs less than $50 so considering the price, the feature set is pretty good.

I got the NantFun 16L Portable Washing Machine, Mini Foldable Washer with Spin Dry Basket as the washing component for my outdoor cooking setup. Since the seasons are changing I'm using it in the kitchen to wash my dish towels. This washer comes with instructions and is packed in a small container. Setup is easy. It contains a fill hose and an attached drain hose along with an ac adapter. It has 3 function selections for quick wash, complete wash and drain (dehydrate).During operation in either wash mode this unit will splash water pretty high and may develop small leak dripping water from the upper seam.Rating two stars for the water leak.

if your needs are the same as mine—no hand-washing underwear, no trips to the laundry for small items—then this is definitely for you. Don't expect it to wash jeans or sheets, but as your "personal small item laundry manager," it's perfect!

I really wanted to love this, unfortunately the things I am struggling to get past are the drain/drying function and how loud this is.I am going to go through my experience from start to finish:Putting it together wasn't too hard but the instructions don't say if the basket is for washing or only the drain function. I decided to use it only for the drain function. So I did not install it right away. This seems to work for me and is giving me a bit more space to fit things in the machine. The connectors that come with the device do not fit any sink in my house so I fill it in the bathtub. At this point the unit is heavier and much harder to lift (If you have any type of limitations physically this may not be for you). I also have to be really careful not to get water on the electric parts because it doesn't fit perfectly under the water spout in my bathtub. After moving this heavy container to my countertop, I turned it on and it was obnoxiously loud. I walked around into every room of my home and even with the bathroom door closed I could still hear it clearly. There is also this beeping noise that happens every time it changes direction (about 10 seconds) when washing and draining. It ran for about 10 minutes but I feel that isn't long enough so I restart it as many times as I need to before draining.Draining is simple, just pull the tube off of the latch in the back and point it downward in the sink. Don't forget to replace it when you are done or you will have a big mess on your hands.I do the water filling process again and run it to rinse the clothes. Then I drain it again. At this point I take the clothes out and put the basket inside. I noticed that on some other people's reviews their machine was supposed to come with a lid for the basket, based on the instructions, but it wasn't included. My instructions do not show a lid for the basket. This is problematic because either way it needs a lid. Otherwise, things start to fall out when spinning. I could fit two items in the washing cycle but I had to separate them to dry/drain each one individually. I think it would have been better if this machine only spun one way to dry. I think it might drain better if it did that. Also, I don't understand why the basket is so much smaller than the machine could allow.I restart the drain multiple times to try and get the water out better. The drain cycle is as loud as the wash cycle. Then I hang the clothes that are still pretty wet because the drain wasn't very good. If you had a regular dryer to put the clothes in, it would take a really long time because they're so wet.It does actually wash the clothes so you can get some use out of it. The motor doesn't seem that strong in general so I am not sure why it's so loud. The drain function may or may not be worth it to use. I had a hard time getting the basket back out so I may skip it altogether from now on and just hang everything to dry without trying to drain it first. The first time I ran it, I filled it up to the area where it turns white again. The next time I filled it past that without issue. I left a few inches between the very top and the water.I think there are better items on the market if you need to wash in a way that doesn't require so much hands on lifting/moving heavy items, interacting in 10 minute intervals and very loud noise levels.

I live in an apartment with no washer and I’m potty training a toddler. I was hoping this would come in clutch. The instructions are very hard to understand, even with photos. There’s a picture of what looks to be an inventory list… and it looks like I’m missing an item. I can’t tell if that’s who this won’t work properly… but I don’t think so. There’s no water fill line so you have no idea how much water to put in it. I fill it to the logical line and it gets so splashy that I turn it off. The suction cup feet are a really nice addition. And we love the color and the ability to collapse it down. The blue light is really cool too. There’s value here if you can get it to act right… and I’m going to keep trying.
