These are good quality and work well for me height-wise. They don't slip while I'm using them, although I am using them on medium height carpet. They come with comfort tape to wrap around each bar to help with grip and hand comfort. My hands are small, and they would also work for much larger hands. I was using yoga blocks before this, and these are much more comfortable for my needs.
These push up stands are not the worst I’ve seen, but certainly not the best, due to one important issue. The little pads they placed on the bottom of the bars to make them “slip-resistant” do not do anything to stop slipping unless you’re on a rug or more grippy surface to begin with. I used them on the hardwood as I planned to use these at home when I can’t make it to the gym and they did not grip the ground. I happened to order another pair at the same time from a different brand because my son wanted some too, and those ones are far more slip-resistant. The provided grip tape in this set does keep your hands from slipping, but I would argue that the inability for them to grip the ground is more important. I’m 160lbs and they seem to hold me well when used on the carpet, but I don’t think they should be advertised as non-slip when they are anything but. I still gave 3 stars because when used on a grippy surface they are fine.
These parallettes have been really helpful for both my husband and me, especially for push-ups and planks. Even though they’re lightweight, they feel super sturdy and stable when you’re using them, which I really appreciate. The solid wood grip feels comfortable in the hands, and the height helps take a lot of pressure off the wrists compared to doing push-ups directly on the floor.I also like that they come assembled; you can literally take them out of the box, wrap the grip tape, and start using them right away. They’re compact enough to store without taking up much space, and small enough to pack if we ever want to bring them with us on a trip for a quick workout session. Overall, a great addition to our little home gym setup.
these are some nice looking pushup bars. Unlike the metal ones these aren't as high and the grip is a wider shape which is good for medium to large hands. Maybe not so much if you have smaller hands. The grip tape is effective for grip but not enough for comfort. When I started to use them I felt like they were going to snap and I was going to face plant into the ground. Fortunately they held up fine. I like that they aren't large or take up space. The look also is more attractive when I have them laying around my apt without making it look like its exercise equipment everywhere.I recommend getting something to wrap around it to make it more comfortable. The wood is solid and should hold up as long as it's used as intended.
These are very different, it’s like a garage made push-up stand. My husband says it doesn’t feel sturdy and he’s solid 220 who workout everyday and he does not recommend for anyone over 190 for these. It’s something to take of you travel and need a quick 1,2 workout.
Been using some crappy dumbbells as pushup handles and these are much nicer. Good clearance from the floor, the diameter of the handles feels fine, and the length is plenty. There are rubber non-slip pads on the bottom of each side and the construction seems very sturdy. I can hold my 160 lbs self in the air on them without any noticeable flex at all. The handles come as bare wood with a roll of that waxy grippy tape for each one. Overlapping the tape 50% each go around still left about five inches, so there's plenty. Just press the loose end down thoroughy and it kind of meshes into the rest without any issue.
Functions well in exactly is how they look they would function, I got the small version and although they are made of sturdy enough wood to hold someone over 200 pounds, if you were moving a lot side to side and such that much weight over this small area it’s going to get on sturdy so you’re going to want the longer Version instead of the smaller version. I’m about 110/120 pounds, 5 foot 1, ears are absolutely perfect and fantastic for me. They feel sturdy no matter what I’m doing. The tape does come separate, but it’s easy to wrap and self adhesive. The bottom of the blocks have some foam type squares, which helps prevent them from slipping/sliding a bit, but I do wish it was more of a sticky/embrace of material as this full material still slides fairly easily hence if you were heavier/a taller/bigger person in general or are more likely to move or feel unstable on these so you’ll want the larger version for what they are, though, they work very well
