I'm a fan of getting things 'before I need them' - and this just really felt like something that would have multiple convenient uses while traveling. It's currently attached to my work desk and I have a habit of sticking whatever is handy in the grabby clips when not using it for my phone. It's got great grip strength.Sometimes I need to take client calls on the go and this way I would have any easily adjustable and stable stand wherever I go.The clip opens for the widest of phones, and you could potentially fit an ipad mini in it, but the weight would drag it down.10/10 for portable anywhere phone holder.

Un-boxed(/bagged, technically) in the car while waiting to pick up my daughter. Took some effort to untwist it, popped the phone-clamp onto the arm, screwed tight the retaining clip, clamped it to the e-brake: jump-scared her: thought it was a snake.Got home, clamped it to the back of the desk, fiddled with the placement, clamped a phone to it, sagged about two inches, adjusted: fine. When not loaded-down it has to sit a few inches higher (depending how heavy your phone (with case)). Poked at the phone, held firm(ish), easy to type upon, but then it bounced for nearly ten seconds until it settled. Any desk-movement, rapid gaming-keyboarding sets it to bobbing, a bit.Both clamps, to the desk and the phone, hold well: no indication they will slip/unclip (anytime soon). Finding the right angle takes two hands, (bend this way, twist that way) and a bit of fiddling, but there it then stays. Tried my telephone, pictured, and then my daughter's bigger, heavier, durable case-enclosed phone: works with either. The clamp opens wide, holds firm, for now. There's a silver-sparkly elastic band on the top and bottom of the desk-clamp: cute, sure, but can be removed.The entire holder can be unclamped from the back of the desk, clamped to the front, twisted, turned/aimed a bit, should you want your phone to see the monitor: such to share your gaming/screen with others. Versatility of placement, positioning. Thick enough to hold the weight. Functionally sufficient.Overall– Four Stars: I could (perhaps) see the phone-clamp spring losing its sprung with repeated, prolonged usage: but only time will tell. Fine for now. Thanks.

This gooseneck phone holder works with a bit of a hit or miss. The quality of the flexible gooseneck part is good but the plastic part that you use to clip to your phone, is lacking. It's made of thin plastic and doesn't feel durable. Additionally, my iPhone 15 Pro Max puts some weight on the gooseneck, which makes it tricky to adjust to suit my preferences.The strength of the clip that grips the phone could also be much better, the hold isn't as strong as I expected, causing my phone to slip out while I'm trying to adjust the gooseneck. The part used to clip on to a table or desk is convenient since it's easy to remove and reattach. With the design overall, I found this product to be just okay since there's so many things that could be improved.
