The coat is beautiful , and seemingly well constructed ,but I am returning it. The zippers are inferior. There is a warning on the tag to be gentle when zipping. I unzipped it very carefully but it failed immediately. The delivery was a full day late also. Very disappointed.

Good coat. Was hoping to be able to layer but as it fits 'just right' I'll have to make sure shirt is warm as well. Style was as shown in pictures and seems to me to be able to hold off a good breeze.

This is an awesome coat!!! I have been in need of a long winter coat for a long time now and really like the warmth that puffer-style coats offer so when I saw this one I thought it would be perfect for my needs, and it is! I ordered a 3X based on the size chart provided on the product page and it fits perfectly and is so comfortable I could honestly sleep in it! I am just under 5’7” tall so the coat comes down to about 3” below my knees and has a snap button that keeps it closed and additional snap buttons that are spaced every 10.5” up the front of the coat to just below where the coat meets the chin. Under the snap buttons is a two-way zipper that starts about 12” from the bottom hem of the coat and continues up the front of the coat past the chin to just below my nose. There are two pockets, one on either side that are about 10” deep and hold a good number of items securely. There is also a roomy hood that is not removeable and instead of having pull strings to tighten it around your face/neck, it has flaps that have 2 snap buttons that once connected create a second layer over the part of your face below your nose that is already covered when the coat is fully zippered to the top. The sleeves come down to just above my knuckles when my arms are resting at my side and just above my wrists when my arms are fully extended and have a 2.25” stretchy cuff that is made of a cotton-like material that is different from the polyester material that the rest of the coat is made of. The product name says that the coat is “fleece lined”, that is curious to me because when I think of lining of a coat I think of the material that makes up the interior of the coat, but in this case, the interior lining of this coat is the exact same material as the rest of the coat so in my opinion it is not “fleece lined”…the only reason I can think of that would make this coat be fleece lined is if the fleece is the layer of material, or the insulation, that is inside the coat between the exterior polyester fabric that makes up the entirety of the coat; the fleece being sort of like the batting in a blanket. Regardless, the coat is incredibly warm and will no doubt be a necessity as the temperature begins to drop, especially during those negative degree days that we Chicagoans routinely see each Winter. I do love that this coat is designed specifically for plus size individuals because so often coats that come in plus sizes, (3X and up), are not made by companies that usually make plus size so the sizing tends to be really inaccurate; it is clear that this company knows what they are doing when it comes to sizing and frankly, the design of the coat as well seeing that it is made with extra features that are often lacking in other similar style coats, like the button closure over the zipper. I am quite surprised by the price point being as low as it is considering how well this coat is made; I would have expected to see it being priced much higher so it is an excellent deal in my opinion. I am very pleased with this coat and so happy that I ordered it. I usually dread the frigid weather that comes our way during the Winter months, but this year I will be well prepared!
