This e.l.f. SKIN Best & Obsessed Skincare Kit comes with a variety of skincare items including makeup remover, a serum, and several other mini sized items. It's packaged nicely and I'm finding it fun to use. So far, I like the items I've used a lot. It is ideal for travel but also because the items are small, it's a good way to sample a variety of e.l.f. items without the investment of getting them all full sized. The one issue with these type of kits though is that there are also likely items that are not so useful to you. Also, there isn't a lot of instruction about what to do with each item and how to use them together and in what order. Also, the typeface is so small that I need to take photos in order to read what's written on the package.
This is a fantastic kit. It includes my fave cleansing balm, the buzzy Thirst Burst Drops (which is great, btw), 2 other new launches and the Suntouchable SPF.I have super sensitive skin, that's particularly problematic with silicones in skincare, so I've marked which products have silicone in them. This set has 5 trial sized products, enough to see if they'll work for you. I wish more Beauty brands would offer a set like this, it's a fantastic way to try new products and top up my holiday travel kit with my old faves. Here're my thoughts on the products.➡️ HOLY HYDRATION! MAKEUP MELTING CLEANSING BALM→ Texture flips from balm to oil with zero waxy residue or eye sting.→ I think this is the best cleansing balm in it's price range for sure, and I'm a double cleanse fanatic! (Double cleansing changed my skin, really.)→ Ceramides and peptides keep my barrier happy while the balm gets rid of silcones, sebum, sunscreen and any makeup residue hanging around.→ Rinses clean, no greasy afterlife, so unusual for a balm!✅ Superstar status totally well earned.➡️ BRONZING DROPS (PURE GOLD)→ Liquid glow without glitter trauma, just enough tint to fake a vacation, or make my face (which is always sunscreen protected) match my arms and chest for a strapless dress.→ Marula and raspberry seed oils give my skin some TLC, not just makeup.→ Dupe? Sort of reminds me of *runk *lephant D-Bronzi, but this has fewer silicones (better for me).→ I had no issues with layering this, which is amazing!⚠️ Contains dimethicone, I have to really make sure to double cleanse after applying this.✅ Very cool product. I'll re-order this for sure.➡️ THIRST BURST DROPS→ Love this! Hibiscus extract + hyaluronic acid, plump city, no stickiness.→ Niacinamide adds support for my barrier.→ Dropper dispenser really convenient.✅ Feels like great hydration that give me a glass skin look.➡️ SUNTouchable WHOA GLOW SPF 30 (Sunbeam)→ Love most sunscreens, but this one didn't work so well for my sensitive skin, but I think others might love it.✅ Contains dimethicone.➡️ BRIGHT ICON VITAMIN C + E + FERULIC ACID SERUM→ Excellent, glowy serum.→ Reminds me of the super pricey kinCeuticals C E Ferulic.→ Layers clean, no tackiness, no weird metallic smell.→ Plays nice with SPF (thank goodness)✅ Excellent glow serums that performs above it's price point! Thanks for reading all the way to the end of this long review. If you get this kit, I hope you love at least a couple of the products as much as I do, and find a new product or two that become regulars for you.
This e.l.f. set is great, whether you need it for traveling or just want to sample a bunch of different products at once. I already used the Whoa Glow sunscreen before I got this set, so I already knew that I loved that product. The rest of the products in this set all work just as well.I was surprised most by the makeup melting cleansing mask, which really does melt the makeup right off your skin, and I like that I can either choose to rinse with water, or on my lazier days, just remove with a wet washcloth. The bronzing drops and thirst burst drops are great to combo together. The bronzing drops give you a little bit of a sunkissed glow, while the thirst bursts offer great skincare ingredients, in addition to hydration. And, of course, I love vitamin C in my skincare routine, so I'm glad that e.l.f. includes it in this set as well. Honestly, the travel size version of the vitamin C offers a pretty good amount of product, and I think it'll last me a good while before I need more.At the end of the day, it is a travel set, so most of the products aren't going to last long, but they're perfect for something to throw into your bag right before a trip, or would make a great stocking stuffer for the holiday season. For me, it was great being able to try out four other e.l.f. products I hadn't used before to see whether I wanted to buy larger sizes.
Leaves skin glossy and rejuvenated
I grabbed this e.l.f kit thinking it would be perfect for traveling. These travel size products are actually really good quality, not just tiny samples that do nothing. The set has all the basics you actually need - makeup remover, sunscreen, and brightening serums. Everything works well and hasn't irritated my skin. My skin looked noticeably glowy after using these for a few days. What I love is how budget friendly this is for trying out multiple products without committing to full sizes. If you've been curious about e.l.f skincare but weren't sure if it's worth it, this gives you a real feel for the quality without dropping a ton of money. The travel sizes are perfect for trips. TSA friendly and takes up barely any space in your bag. I threw mine in my carry on for a weekend trip and had everything I needed without lugging full bottles around. These would also be a win as a stocking stuffer! Way better than random junk nobody wants, and the person actually gets to try quality skincare products. The packaging is cute too, not boring or cheap looking.Everything is vegan and cruelty free which is a nice bonus if that matters to you or whoever you're gifting it to.Honestly at this price point for a complete mini routine, you can't go wrong.
Great travel kit. Love the Elf products!
