Super warm and cozy. I bought this for my 14 year old hes tall and slender. It fits well.
Fantastic coat!! Fits good. Wish it was a tab bit longer on the torso. Has a compass on the sleeve which was a huge selling point for my kiddo. Haha. The hood is detachable which is nice for when using a backpack. The zipper works good but can be a bit finicky. You can’t tighten the wrists which I find strange for a winter coat. There also aren’t pull strings in the waist so you can’t tighten seal out the colder air.
This ski jacket has been perfect for my son. It keeps him warm and cozy even on very cold days, and the hood and waterproof material are great for snow and windy weather. He loves wearing it and it’s become his go-to jacket for outdoor play this winter. The fit is good and it feels well made and durable. He also loves that there is a compass on the sleeve.
Great ski/winter jacket for boys. This is think and sturdy, and obviously waterproof. I'm very sure this thick coat will provide the warmth needed at the top of the mountain. The outer shell is think and sturdy, and looks windproof. It provides enough coverage from cold weather. I find it easy to zip up. I like the different pouches, handy to store essentials and cards when skiing. My kid felt very comfortable in it. Recommended.
PROS-High-quality build with a tough waterproof and windproof exterior-Plush interior lining that’s very soft and kid-approved-Silky sleeve lining for easy on-and-off-Hood fully lined with the same plush material-Large, heavy-duty zipper that works well with gloves-Snaps at top and bottom of zipper to seal out wind-Accurate sizing and great appearance-Reasonable price for the qualityNITPICKING-Pockets on the sides and chest are on the small side-Bubble compass is more of a novelty than a useful featureDETAILSThis coat stands out for its solid construction and thoughtful design. The outer shell has a fine box-weave texture that gives it a rugged, dependable feel, almost like it could take anything a kid throws at it. Inside, the plush lining is impressively soft, and my kids immediately commented on how comfortable it feels. The smooth, silky sleeve lining makes the coat easy to slip in to. The hood is lined with the same plush material, which is a nice touch for extra warmth. The zipper is large and sturdy, easy to grab while wearing gloves, and the snaps on the flap over the zipper adds extra protection against gusty weather. While the pockets work fine, neither the side pockets nor the vertical chest pocket offer much room. The little bubble compass on the shoulder is clearly more for fun than function. It’s difficult to read while wearing the coat. The cuffs on each sleeve are substantial enough to keep cold air out.I ordered the black version and note the it is all dark. Other than a tiny reflective logo on the chest and hood there is nothing reflective on the coat - something to keep in mind if your kid is wearing this at night around traffic. The fit was perfect on my 12-year-old boy, who plans to use it on cold days and during ski trips.Overall, the coat matches its description, feels durable, and comes at a fair price. 5 stars.
Picked this jacket up for my son for the colder months, and it’s been a solid buy so far. It’s thick, warm, and surprisingly lightweight for how insulated it feels. The lining is super soft and the waterproof shell really does hold up in wet snow. He’s especially obsessed with the little compass on the sleeve, which adds a fun touch and makes him feel like he’s on an adventure every time we go outside. The pockets are well-placed and zip securely, perfect for stashing gloves or small treasures. My only small gripe is that it could be a bit longer in the torso for better coverage when he raises his arms, especially if you have a longer kiddo like mine, and the zipper can be a little finicky at times. Still, for the warmth, comfort, and overall build, it’s a great value. Definitely recommend sizing up if your kid’s in between sizes.
My son(8) was so excited to find this in his package! He was begging me for one after I got one for his brother. He is happy about how it is thick and comfy. He really loves the soft fuzzy inside, and the compass on the sleeve! He was excited for all the pockets, but especially the one on the inside. He also really likes how reflective it is. He is happy with the dark grey color. He can't wait for snow to come so he can wear it! The hood can be removed which is good for him, because he doesn't always like to wear one, but he does like that it closes around his face when he is wearing it.Unfortunately, although I ordered in his current size, it's a tad too small for him. He wants to wear it anyway, but the sleeves are a bit short, and the bottom pops up when he lifts his arms. So I suggest to get the next size up!I highly recommend this jacket for your littles for the cold weather!
I bought this winter ski jacket for my 8-year-old in the 9-10 size, and it fits perfectly with a little room to grow. It’s warm and cozy without being bulky. It keeps him dry in snow and rain, and the windproof design + hood are great for those really cold days. One of the coolest features is the little compass on the sleeve. My son is obsessed with it and shows it off to everyone. He says it makes him feel like an explorer, which honestly might be his favorite part of the whole jacket! There’s an inside pocket and three outside pockets that zip. The zip pockets are super handy for gloves and little treasures my son finds while out exploring (it’s rocks, it’s always rocks) and the material feels durable and high-quality.Overall, this jacket has been perfect for winter play and outdoor adventures. Great quality, great fit, and my kid loves it. Highly recommend!
