Designed for those who demand more, the Lenovo 700 Modern Multi-Device Wireless Combo delivers quiet, responsive typing and an ambidextrous mouse that fits naturally in any hand. Seamlessly toggle between 3 devices via Bluetooth® or 2.4 GHz, reducing clutter and boosting efficiency. Whether for office or personal use, this combo keeps distractions low and comfort high, allowing you to work with ease.
There's things about this combo that are very nice. Batteries are included, there very low latency and lag, between the fob or Bluetooth modes. Both the mouse and keyboard connect to the same fob, with an additional two Bluetooth connections per device. it would be nice if the mouse just paired to the keyboard or something so you didn't have to pair both the mouse and keyboard separately to the same device if you choose not to use the fob.The keyboard and mouse are both chiclet style, aiming to be quite and 'work appropriate.' Very disappointing that the function/control/right click keys got moved around in favor of the co-pilot button that nobody uses. The keyboard itself feels durable in weight, but a little cheap to type on, but have no latency issues. It would also be nice if it was blacklit at all. The mouse clicks are a bit too soft, and doesn't always feel like it clicked at all. There is also an included phone/tablet stand. This is supposed to work independently, but if you don't' connect it to the rail on the back of the keyboard it doesn't have the counter weight it needs to stand up on it's own. On it's own it's got a kickstand system, but the actual kickstand is very brittle, the kind of plastic that breaks in your bag or if it gets dropped a single time.
This Lenovo keyboard and mouse is almost very good, but let down by a truly terrible mouse. Setup is easy - it's plug and play with the USB dongle or a simple pair with bluetooth. Both look great - minimal and unoffensive.First with the pros:-Keyboard feel is very good for a membrane type keyboard. Firm (not too firm) activation with a cushioned bottom. Very quiet.-Slight texture on keys to give a good feel on the fingertips.-Plenty of functions and three programmable buttons.-Two bluetooth device pairing modes and one USB dongle mode.-Minimal flex on the keyboard.Cons:-Button clicks on the mouse are barely perceptible.-Any pressure on the mouse (almost anywhere) will activate a click.-Mouse takes a single AA and the keyboard takes two AAA's. At this price, they keyboard and mouse should be USB C rechargeable.-Mouse is heavier than expected but that may be in part due to the AA battery.Overall, I can't recommend this mouse and keyboard combo because of the mouse and lack of USB charging. Not a great value for money at this price point. Should be $20.
There is a known interference issue with wireless keyboards and mouses (yes, mice is for the animal). Basically, the small usb 2.4ghz receiver picks up interference from nearby high speed data transmission commonly caused by usb flash drives and usb-c hubs. The end user notices laggy mouse movement or missed keystrokes resulting in unnecessary power togggles, premature battery replacements, rage clicking, and general IT apathy.A more productive fix is switching to expensive bluetooth keyboard/mouse combos. Of course the logitech brands start at $100... each. Naturally, I dragged my feet on the investment.Thankfully Lenovo offered a more affordable but still quality offering with their Lenovo 700 keyboard and mouse combo. But wait, bluetooth is also 2.4ghz, right? Yes, that would be a concern if not for the fact that most modern laptops and tablets have bluetooth built in. That means the antenna is wired inside the appliance and not compressed into a tiny usb receiver positioned next to the port causing your interference problem. I'll keep the receiver in the storage slot inside the keyboard battery bay, or inside the mouse since both have a place intended to help stop you from losing these important accessories. I'll probably use it anytime someone drops their pc or laptop on my desk for help so i don't have to sacrifice one of the 3 selectable mappings I plan on using for my laptop, pc, and work laptop. As for function, the soft touch keys are quiet but tactile, so typing is satisfying with just enough feedback to know you're not accidentally fat-fingering adjacent keys. I also appreciate the standard key layout. They didn't try to stack the directional keys or shrink the backslash key to make room for a two-row enter key. The mouse click is equally soft-touch but tactile. I wish the mouse were a little more ergonomic and not the common/standard size. At least it's not the flattened or slim style designed for users who hate their wrists. I was accidentally hitting the thumb buttons, so either the short throw on those switches or their placement could be improved, but I'm sure it will be easy to get used to. The cover is magnetic and secure but easy to remove. The keyboard also comes with a clip on accessory to stand up your phone or tablet if you choose to map that as one of your devices. I think i 10" tablet might be a little top heavy and tip easily, but it'll be fine if you're typing. Can't comment on the battery life. I guess I'll come back to the review if they die in less than a year.TLDR: I picked this up on Vine but I would honestly buy it again for the listed retail price.
This is a good wireless keyboard and mouse set. It has many great features, such as for example: the phone/tablet holder, the little expandable legs and multi device Bluetooth connections. And it’s also super lightweight, which makes it truly portable. The mouse is actually even lighter than the one I got from other competitor brand. The typing speed isn’t quote on quote though, feel like there is some lagging. Also the mouse has 3 speeds, the slowest being still too fast in my experience and preference. Overall this set feels worth the price. Will need to test the durability because it is very lightweight and not sure what will happen if you drop or smash it in the bag couple of times.
muy bien
The keyboard and mouse come with batteries included as well as a small stand to hold a mobile device. The keyboard is very sleek and has great key action. You can connect with either a dongle or via bluetooth to multiple devices and switch devices using the bluetooth keys on the keyboard. The keyboard and mouse were easy and comfortable to use. We would recommend this combo.Overall I believe it is of good value for the cost. As always I will evaluate long term and update with any new information
