I have to admit the packaging for this item is not that impressive--check out my pictures. If you intend to give these as a gift, you may have to repackage them--hence the 4 stars vs five. Also, no composition or care instructions--which is a must if these truly are 53% merino wool as pictured in one of the graphics. As far as the look of the actual socks--they are gorgeous. I have a few pairs sitting on my table. My intent was to wash a few--gentle/delicate, in a laundry bad, with woolite--and then compare to the unwashed socks to determine if they shrink, etc. (BTW, they did not shrink or pill and washed fabulously with that method.) My mom starts raving about how lovely, and soft, and warm they look--and your aunt would love these, too! *HINT, HINT* I said, "are your feet cold?" She doesnt wear socks, and we live in a fairly cold clime. I said, "go ahead and put a pair on while you are here and let me know what you think of them." WELL,,,,when it came time to leave, my mom, who doesnt ever wear socks with her sneaks, tried to abscond with them!!! My 3yo says, "Nana, you have to give those socks back." My mother ignores her. She insists, "Nana, those are Mommy's socks, you have to give them back to her!" Finally, my mom, very grumbly, takes them off and gives them back to me! Obviously, I ordered a set for her! My teenage daughter says they are pretty and she will wear them with her UGG tasman II slippers. I think the sizing is correct and if you have feet bigger than a woman's 9, you are out of luck. I would like to see the company offer a large option for women with feet bigger than a 9. UPDATE— my teen daughter grabbed a pair of these (brand new not washed) and wore them for a few hours with her UGGS. they seem to be coming apart at the toe seam. This may be a fluke or These may turn out to be disposable—I will update if any more socks begin to fall apart.

This is my second set of these! I cannot say how much I love these socks. They're so adorable, and cozy, I honestly wish I didn't ever have to wear shoes over them, lol. Fun story - I was at a friend's and needed to borrow socks (long story) and she gave me one of these very socks. Well I fell in love with them and asked where she got them, then went right off to look for a set of my own. I was SHOCKED at how reasonably priced they are! So I told this story to Another friend, and she laughed and said not only did she have these same socks, but another mutual friend has them too! So there's your proof of how great these socks are - we all love them! Now I will say, if you are size 8 like me, or over, do NOT put these in the dryer!! My first set I wasn't thinking and popped them right in, and they shrank (see last pic). I can still wear them, but the heel is a slight bit short. Now go buy these!

These socks have a cute and cozy design and that’s honestly what made me order them. The vintage colors look great in person, and they feel warm and soft perfect for cold weather. I also love that they’re a little longer than regular ankle socks. They cover my ankles completely which keeps me extra warm and makes them even more comfortable to wear around the house.But the quality check was disappointing. One of the socks arrived ripped with a hole in it right out of the package. It makes me question how well the rest of the pairs will hold up over time. The design is adorable, they fit nicely, and they are warm but the durability and lack of proper quality control bring the rating down for me. I’m giving them 3 stars because I genuinely like how they look and feel but I wish the quality was more reliable.

I love these cozy wool blend socks. The pattern puts me in mind of fireplaces and hot chocolate. The colors go with most of my fall outfits. The socks are warm and stretchy and they wick moisture away from my feet. I’ve worn them hiking and to sleep in and they do equally well at each. I’ve washed and dried them and they did not pill or shrink. I have lymphedema that is well controlled but I will never have tiny ankles. These socks stretch around my legs without cutting in. For reference, I’m 215 lbs with a 17” calf. My ankles and lower legs are not extremely large but large enough that I have had socks that just didn’t stretch enough. These stretch enough and they are really cute. You get 5 pairs of colorful happy socks for 9.99 (and there’s a coupon sometimes!) It is a phenomenal deal. I liked them so much I just ordered the other colorway. Yes I can highly recommend these fun adorable comfortable socks!

They’re also not the fuzzy-soft kind you’d sleep in, but for wool-blend socks they’re spot on and comfortable for everyday wear.Overall, these are well-made, fun to wear and an awesome value since you get so many!
