I grabbed this Rapoo keyboard and mouse set as a low-cost replacement for a loud, worn-out office keyboard — and for $20, I’m impressed. The setup is as easy as it gets: plug in the USB receiver, and both pieces sync instantly with no drivers or pairing steps. The quiet typing claim is legit — the keys are low profile and feel more like a laptop keyboard, cutting way down on that clacky office noise. The mouse is also silent, which I didn’t realize I’d appreciate until I stopped hearing clicks every 3 seconds. If you work late at night or in shared spaces, this matters. The full-size keyboard layout includes a number pad and 12 media keys, plus a single-button calculator shortcut (which is way more useful than it sounds). Quick volume control without digging through menus is a nice bonus. Just note that some shortcut keys are Windows-only.The keyboard is also spill-resistant — I haven’t poured coffee on it to test it but it’s nice knowing a splash won’t kill it. The mouse is lightweight and ambidextrous, comfortable enough for everyday use (not a gaming mouse, but that’s not what it’s meant for).Battery life is supposedly up to a year, and if it’s like other Rapoo products I’ve used, that’s believable.Pros✔️ Really quiet typing & clicking✔️ Simple plug-and-play setup✔️ Full-size layout with media & calculator keys✔️ Spill-resistant for everyday accidents✔️ Great value for the price✔️ Lightweight and portableCons❌ Not backlit❌ Shortcut keys are Windows-only❌ Mouse feels a bit basic if you're used to premium models❌ No indicator lights for Caps Lock or Num LockOverall, this is a solid budget workhorse — perfect for home office, casual use, or a backup keyboard/mouse combo. If you want something quiet, reliable, and inexpensive, this one checks all the boxes.

I work on computers all day so I know what I like in keyboards and mice. This is a nice set for the price. It only took a minute to setup. Insert the included AA batteries (one in each device) and plug the wireless USB into the computer, turn each device on and they work.SIZE: The keyboard weighs 1lb 3oz so nice weight. It is about 17" long by 5" high by 3/4" thick. With the feet extended the back is about 1 3/4" high.It seems to be very durable. The keys feel comfortable when typing and are silent. It includes all function keys, the extra movement keys and the numeric pad. It has light indicators for caps lock, num lock and scroll lock. The mouse fits well in my hand and is comfortable to use. Both left and right buttons work well and there is a scroll wheel between the buttons. I like the optical mouse much better than the older ball mice which needed to be cleaned regularly or they wouldn't work.My only complaints, and this has nothing to do with the keyboard itself, is that I'm used to having a wrist rest built into my keyboard so I'll get a foam wrist rest to use with this. And the 6 editing keys (Insert/Delete/Home/End/Page Up/Down) are laid out differently than what I'm used to but it won't take long to get used to that as I use it.I haven't had these items long enough to comment on battery life. But most like these last at least 12 months.

This keyboard is truly quiet when typing and when using the left/right mouse clicks. This is very good for when you want to work without disturbing others and I liked that I could type quickly and forcefully without making a lot of noise. The keyboard and mouse don't have lighting, but there are indicator lights for num lock, cap lock, and scroll lock on the top right of the keyboard. The keyboard is full size with all the standard function keys and numpad, but is windows layout only. It connects instantly to work HP G10 when I plug in the dongle and the default mouse dpi (speed of mouse movement on the screen) is great. The included 2 batteries are nice to see.My one dislike is that the middle mouse button on the scroll wheel is standard loudness and so is the wheel itself. I would have liked to see those silent too even if it raised the price of this set. I would give this set a 4.5 considering it generally meets it's purpose really well at this price point. Since Amazon doesn't allow half stars I will just bump it to a 5 since I think it's a competitive/solid product set for office work.

Love this keyboard and mouse combo. The mouse is an adult size mouse, so your fingers and hand rest comfortably over the mouse. Quiet clicking. The keyboard is awesome as it is super quiet when you type and has a nice feel to it when you type. It feels cushioned so your fingers do not get tired. I have tendonitis in my hands, so this cushiniong effect helps reduce typing strain on my hands. The keyboard and mouse were recognized by my system right away once the USB was plugged in. I like this keyboard very much as it also has the function key features for quick access on your computer to email. FN + F4 quickly brings up outlook which is a great feature for me.

This keyboard and mouse set is solid. I’ve used several other sets over the years, and none of them have worked as consistently or as smoothly as this one. The wireless range alone puts it ahead of most of the others I’ve tried — it stays connected even when I’m working from a distance or moving around the room, which is a huge plus in my workflow.I use this setup for accessing other computers and servers, so reliability is everything. This set responds instantly, doesn’t lag, and makes switching between systems a lot easier. But what really surprised me is how quiet the keys are. I often have to work in quiet environments, and with this keyboard, I’m not bothering anyone with loud clacking or distracting key noise. It’s smooth, soft, and feels great to type on for long periods. The mouse is equally responsive and comfortable, making the whole combo feel well-balanced and thoughtfully designed. If you need a dependable, quiet keyboard and mouse set — especially for IT work or remote system access — this one definitely stands out.

This Bluetooth wireless keyboard and mouse set has been a pleasant surprise. Setup was simple: just insert the Bluetooth dongle, and the computer instantly recognized both devices with no extra configuration needed. The keyboard is whisper‑quiet - almost no sound at all when typing - yet the keys are responsive and comfortable. It’s full‑size, with a numeric keypad, arrow controls, and all the Fn buttons you’d expect, so nothing feels missing. The adjustable feet let you type flat or at an angle, and the conveniently placed on/off switch on the front makes it easy to power down when shutting off the computer. The mouse complements it well: smooth tracking, accurate response, and a shape that fits the hand comfortably. Both devices run on AA batteries (included), which is a nice touch. After a week of use, the Bluetooth dongle connection has been rock‑solid, and battery life seems promising.Overall, this set delivers a quiet, responsive typing experience and a smooth, reliable mouse at a great price.

Its as quiet as you would think! My laptop keyboard had some water spilt on it and I lost the function of a few keys including the spacebar, I tried an all in one keyboard but couldn't get used to the integrated mouse so I got a full sized keyboard with separate mouse, its a really nice setup with adjustable tilt on the bottom of the board, the buttons feel premium and there's a satisfying click on the mouse. As soon as I plugged in the Bluetooth dongle my windows 11 laptop accepted it.

I set this keyboard up in about two seconds. I opened the mouse, spotted the tiny USB receiver sitting right next to the battery spot, popped it into my computer, and voilà! Everything started working without a single extra step. No software, no menu, nothing complicated. I love when things are that simple. The keyboard itself feels great to type on. I usually type fast, and with this one, the keys are low and soft, so my fingers glide easily without that loud clacking sound. Some people like those mechanical keyboards with the big click, but for me, quiet is perfect, especially late at night. The mouse is just as quiet and because it is slim, it fits my small hand so nicely. Very comfortable for long hours at the computer.Another thing I appreciate is that both the keyboard and mouse share the same USB connection. It keeps my setup clean and I do not need two separate receivers. It is a small detail but it makes a difference when you want your desk to stay simple.Little tip:The USB receiver lives inside the mouse. If you ever miisplace it or forget where it is, just check under the battery cover. That tiny detail makes life easier.Pros:• Super quiet keyboard and mouse• Instant setup with one USB receiver• Keys are low and comfortable for fast typing• Mouse fits small hands well• No software or downloads needed• Perfect for quiet spaces or late work sessions• Stable on the desk and easy to useWhy I rated it 5 stars: It works perfectly, feels comfortable, installs in seconds, and the quiet clicking is exactly what I prefer. A simple, easy combo that I enjoy using every day.

The keys on this keyboard are quiet, as are the buttons on the mouse. However, the keyboard seems to have a more limited range than the mouse, so keep that in mind. I have the dongle about 2 feet away from the keyboard, and it works well that way. Because of this range issue, I'm giving it 4 stars. Also, the keyboard goes to sleep pretty quickly, so sometimes you have to tap the keys to wake it up. It is a full keyboard with a number pad, but it has a compact design. The keys feel smooth.

The setup on this was super easy as the connectivity was smooth and I had it paired to my PC without any trouble. The keyboard itself has a slim profile, is lightweight, and it has the little flip-out feet if you like a bit of height. I also really appreciate that it’s a full keyboard with a number pad but still doesn’t feel huge or bulky.Typing on it feels soft and quiet, no loud clacking at all. You can barely hear the keys, which I think is what makes it a great office option if you don’t want to announce every email you’re typing. On my PC it works beautifully with zero lag. I did try connecting it to my work Mac just to see, and it lagged quite a bit there, so I’d stick to using this on PC like it’s intended for.The mouse works well and feels comfortable. One thing I didn’t expect though is that the keyboard uses a single AA battery. It surprised me at first because so many keyboards have built-in rechargeable batteries now, but honestly it’s not a bad thing. At least you don’t end up with yet another device that becomes useless once its internal battery dies years from now and then having to dispose of the battery.
