08-03-2026This decline bench is easy to put together and very sturdy. It is exactly what you would find at a commercial gym. I was worried about assembly since several reviews mentioned a missing item. My box had all parts and tools required for assembly. Assembly took about 40 minutes, but I took my time. Based on the construction quality and actual use of heavy duty steel, I anticipate it will last 10+ years of heavy use. The adjustments on the bottom allow you to adjust the height somewhat, but I would have loved that to have included rubber bumpers on the bottom. Not an issue for its current location (for me) which is carpeted, but you may want to pick up some peel and stick bumpers for the bottom from any local hardware store if you’re worried about scratches.

08-03-2026I spent my earlier years in professional gyms putting a ton of hours on all kinds of equipment. So You can say I have a perspective on quality that is credible. There are better benches out there than this one. I personally would have paid more for better. I bought this for my teenagers, and it works okay for what they need it for. I personally would not buy it again or recommend to someone I care about.Pros:-This bench was easy to put together.-It has an ascetically pleasing look.-It is made for smaller people.-It has 4 height adjustments., wheels for locational transition, & adjustable extension on the foot catcher.-It works decently.Cons:-It is made for smaller framed people. If you are 6' or taller this machine will be cumbersome to use.-The bench is narrow width wise. You need to make sure you understand the real width of this thing.-The support structure could be better. It is a little sloppy.-The material is not high end grade like you would find in a Gold's gym.-The padding on the bench is thinner than the picture depicts on the ad.-The bottom of the bench at its highest setting is practically on the ground.-The bench is not balanced, the manufacturer knows this, which is why they added makeshift foot adjusters to balance the bench. These to not work that well.

08-03-2026I confess to not putting this together, but partner says it was fairly straightforward, instructions clear and it took him about 30 minutes. This is the exact bench I have been searching for and it works GREAT. I was afraid it would be flimsy or poorly constructed based on reviews from earlier this year, but apparently the mfr has addressed all those concerns, because this is extremely sturdy and at the same time I can move it myself. I am 5'2" and partner is 6'4"We are both able to use this bench. Will advise in a month or so to see if i am still enthusiastic!

08-03-2026SUPER! The only thing I had to do for my purposes/use, was I needed to elevate it, so I placed three cinder blocks under it, two at the foot and one at the head. Also It was missing a few minor curved washers but I managed.
